Valley End Construction

A Valley end consists of a girder truss supporting the standard trusses, saddle trusses and one or two valley
gutters.
Construction procedure is as follows:

1) Position the girder or saddle truss with the triple grip facing the truss run.
2) As the main truss run is constructed, the trusses with specially cut ends land into the triple grips and are
fixed using two (2) #10 - 16 x 16 hex self drilling screws. After the main roof block has been constructed,
girder trusses boot / angles are installed on either side of the trusses landing on the main truss rail as
shown.
