With the continuous improvement of the quality and

performance of domestic and international diesel generator
sets, generator sets are widely used in hospitals, hotels,
hotels, real estate and other industries. The performance
levels of diesel power generator sets are divided into G1, G2,
G3, and G4.

Class G1: The requirements of this class apply to connected

loads that only need to specify the basic parameters of their
voltage and frequency. For example: General use (lighting
and other simple electrical loads).

Class G2: This class of requirements applies to loads that

have the same requirements for their voltage characteristics
as the public power system. When the load changes, there
may be temporary but allowable deviations in voltage and
frequency. For examples: lighting systems, pumps, fans and
winches.

Class G3: This level of requirements applies to connected

equipment that has strict requirements on the stability and
level of frequency, voltage and waveform characteristics. For
examples: radio communications and thyristor controlled
loads. In particular, it should be recognized that special
considerations are required regarding the effect of the load
on the generator set voltage waveform.

Class G4: This class is applicable to loads with particularly

stringent requirements on frequency, voltage, and waveform
characteristics. For example: Data processing equipment or
computer system.

As a communication diesel generator set for telecom project

or telecommunication system, it must meet the requirements
of G3 or G4 level in GB2820-1997, and at the same time, it
must meet the requirements of 24 performance indicators
specified in the “Implementation Rules for Network Access
Quality Certification and Inspection of Communication
Diesel Generator Sets” and strict inspection by the
Communication Power Equipment Quality Supervision and
Inspection Center established by Chinese industry authorities.
