Project Introduction and Purpose Paper

The primary purpose of this paper is to introduce the essential elements of my project,

focusing on its main idea, the steps involved in creating the final product, and its ultimate goal.

As a committed student, I plan to enhance the resources available to patients at the All American

Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute and Clinic. To achieve this, I will apply the knowledge

gained during my ongoing mentorship with Dr. Dineen, an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon, and

develop an advanced and meaningful product. My main focus is to improve patient care by

creating informative materials, such as templates, papers, and pamphlets that address various

health concerns and common hand injuries in Orthopedics. Additionally, this mentorship will lay

a strong foundation for my chosen major and future career in the medical field, providing

valuable insights into Hand and Wrist Trauma and enabling me to observe Dr. Dineen's

professional patient consultations and treatments.

Specifically, my product aims to improve the clinic's resources by presenting engaging

pamphlets with vivid illustrations and detailed papers that educate and address general patient

concerns. Through complete analysis and research of existing clinic resources, I strive to build

on Dr. Dineen and her team’s groundwork to ensure patient reassurance. This process involves

thorough research, precise project development, and the integration of valuable input from Dr.

Dineen and her colleagues to refine the materials. Once approved, the materials will be

accessible to patients seeking additional information on their health concerns.

In conclusion, my project product aims to provide patients with accurate and reliable

resources, empowering them with valuable knowledge and insights into their health concerns.

My final product is designed to bridge the gap between patient inquiries and Dr. Dineen's

medical expertise, strengthening the clinic's ability to address diverse patient needs. Overall, this

project demands careful observation, research, and collaboration with Dr. Dineen and her

colleagues, showcasing my commitment to making effective improvements in patient care and

highlighting my dedication to delivering essential healthcare contributions for the benefit of all.
