INTRODUCTION The manual consists of three document types: 1. Safety and General Instructions 2.User’s Manual(s) 3. Operating Instructions The document, Safety and General Instruction, and the associated User's Manual (s) contains all information for proper, easy, and safe operation. It is absolutely imperative to read and follow these instruction before installation, start-up and maintenance of the machine or installation. Before removing the machine or parts of it, as well as before installation, assembly, or disassembly, read the chapters in the applicable User's Manual(s). The equipment is exclusive to be operated by qualified and special - trained personnel Basic training of operators and maintenance personnel is carried out by the manufacturer and is usually part of the delivery. Commissioning is only to be carried out by qualified personnel of the the manufacturer or by personnel authorized by the manufacturer. We would like to draw your special attention to the Chapter 3 “SAFETY “ and 5 “WARNINGS SYMBOLS”, concerning the safety measures and accident preventatives, built-in and attached to the equipment, as well as the hazards that could not be prevented in the design and construction of the equipment. DIRECTION FOR USE 2.1 General 1.For safety reasons, never operate the machine above its limit values as described in the User's Manual. 2. The equipment has been designed and constructed to manufacture candy products within the technical specifications and capabilities described in the User's Manual(s). 3. Any use other than its intended use can endanger the operator and the people within the operating zone. 3. SAFETY Besides the general safety precautions mentioned in this chapter, all precautions mentioned in the other chapters of this manual must be strictly observed. 3.1 Safety devices + The applied safety provisions are marked on the composition drawing by a capital S (see table1: Safety Devices) + These provisions are applied for the safety of the operator and maintenance personnel as well as other persons within the operating zone of the machine. Observe strict standards of hygiene as laid down by local regulation. You are strongly recommended to observe the following rules: + Do not operate the machine until you read and understand the operating instruction and become thoroughly familiar with the machine, its controls and possible hazards. Never operate a machine while a safety device or guard is removed or disconnected Do not start the machine until other personnel in the area have been warned and have moved outside the operating zone. Remove any tools or other foreign objects from operating zone before starting Absolutely do not have loose clothing or unrestrained long hair near operating machinery. Keep operating zone free from obstacles that could cause a person to trip or fall towards an operating machine. Never sit or stand on anything that might cause you to fall against the machine. “Horseplay” around machinery at any time dangerous and prohibited Know the emergency stop procedure for the machine. Compressed air, steam and electrical power must be off when machine is not in use. In case of electronic equipment the electrical power can be left on, but the machine has to be switched to “0” (zero) when not in use. This does not mean that the equipment is powerless. www.Lati SA.com SAFETY & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Never operate machine above specified speeds, pressures or temperature. Never by-pass limit or other safety switches. Keep alert and observe indicator lights and warnings that are displayed on the machine. Never leave the machine unattended while in operation. Do not operate faulty or damaged equipment. Make sure proper service and maintenance procedures have been performed. Avoid placing fingers, hands, or any part of your body into the machine or near moving parts when electrical power is on www.Lati SA.com SAFETY & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Electrical and Mechanical Safety All electrical/electronic maintenance and service should be performed only by trained and authorized electricians, who are informed about the possible hazards machine. Do not remove any of the fixed protective covers or panels of the machine while it is running. They are fitted for your protection and should be opened by qualified service personnel only. Switch off the machine with the main switch and use a padlock. If applicable, remove or disconnect the main fuses before starting any disassembly work on the machine. Do not attempt to adjust moving parts while the machine is running, Never operate the machine with the grounding line disconnected or bypassed. The installation wiring must include a properly grounded power outlet. Assume at all times that power is “on”. Treat all condition as live. This practice assures a cautious approach that may prevent an accident or injury. To remove load from circuit or equipment, switch off the main power switch and lock in open position. For maximum protection, a locked out switch in open position using a lock for which only one person has the key prevents anyone from accidentally turning on the power. Make certain that the circuit is open by using the proper test equipment. Testing eq jipment must be checked at regular intervals Give capacitor time to discharge, especially when frequency controlled drives are used. There may be circumstance where “trouble-shooting” on live equipment may be required, Under such conditions, special precautions must be taken as follows: a) Make certain your tools and body are clear of the ground especially in damp areas. b) Be alert and avoid any outside distraction * Before applying power to any equipment, make certain that all personnel are clear of the machine. + Open control panel doors only to check out electrical equipment or wiring. After the panel door is closed, make certain that (on those panels, where applicable) the disconnecting handle mechanism is operating properly * Close all covers on junction panels after completing the job. www.Lati SA.com SAFETY & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS Service & Maintenance Safety Do not service a machine until you are thoroughly qualified, trained and familiar with the tasks to be performed .Only trained personnel should be there, for operating machines. Never operate any controls while other persons are performing maintenance on the machine. Do not by-pass a safety device. Lockout the main switch before performing maintenance on electrical parts. Always use the proper tool for the job. Never open covers with power on. Replace fuses only when electrical power is turn off (locked out). www.Lati SA.com SAFETY & GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 4. INSTALLATION 4.1 General Assemble in accordance with, P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagram), Installation drawing (s).Electrical drawing, which can be found elsewhere on the file. CAUTION During all installation activities, the machine has to be isolated and locked out from any kind of energy. All installation parts must stand absolutely leveled. After assembly, the frames and supports have to fix firmly. CAUTION To allow for all connections to be able to react at all times to the vessel’s condition these connection must be fitted free of tension. 4.2 Electrical Connections + Connections have to be made by the electric diagram, + The cable's cross-section will depend on local regulations and the total power installed. Sound Level: The continuous sound level of the equipment is below 75 dBA. Adaptations to the machine In case of adaptations, where the safety guards have to be modified and/or adapted, the local regulations for minimum distances to protect the human body must be taken into consideration Modifications and alteration Latini cannot be held responsible for modifications and alterations that can be of influence to the safety of the machine. The executor of the modifications carries full responsibility, with respect to safety regulations. MAINTENANCE The best way to prevent major damage is to report minor inconveniences immediately to the maintenance department. SAFETY 1. Switch off all energy sources to the installation before performing maintenance on the machine. 2. Ensure that no one can operate any controls during maintenance. 3. Ensure that all guards and safety devices are in position before starting up the machine. 6.1 Information about maintenance work Regular and correct maintenance as well as sufficient cleaning of the working area and the machine is indispensable for safety reasons. Please observe all adjustment, maintenance-, and inspection work and dates as described in the operating manual including information on exchanging parts. Comply with the method of switching on/off the machine as described in this manual For maintenance work, appropriate workshop equipment is absolutely necessary Make known the methods of reporting & fighting fire Clean machine - especially connections and screw fittings - before maintenance/repair work of oil, fuel, or protective agents Do not use any corrosive cleaning agents Perform an external cleaning work, depending on the degree of dirt, with a brush or cloth and warm water. www.LatiniUSA.com The daily cleaning procedure should be carried out as part of the shutdown procedure. OPERATIONS MANUAL 1. INTRODUCTION The manual consists of three document types: 1. Installing the equipment as per drawing, 2. Access to compressed air & safety points 3. Access to water pipes & safety points 4.Electrical Components 5.Access to steam & safety points Equipment Overview 1) Cooking system L.Dissolving tank This tank is steam-heated. Before use, make sure that the boiler room can provide enough steam (0.4-0.6 MPa). It is equipped with heating, stirring, shearing, and other functions. Pay attention to safety when using, and do not heat without materials to prevent damage to the pot body. After use, pay attention to drainage. If there is too much steam water remaining inside before the next use, it will easily lead to slow heating. IL Mixing and cooling tank. This tank is for cooling and mixing and is generally suitable for the production of gelatin raw materials. Before use, it is necessary to pass an appropriate amount of tap water into the interlayer. According to the formulation process, the temperature can be lowered to a suitable level and then mixed with the melted gelatin solution. Like general colloid production, this tank is only used as a temporary storage tank. lll, Storage tank This equipment is used to store syrup tanks after all cooking, mixing, and cooling processes are completed SA.com www.Lati 2) Depositing machine The depositing machine is constructed entirely of 304 stainless steel. Hygiene and safety Filling and single-color gummy can be made in two hoppers. The operation is straightforward and convenient. Please avoid touching the hopper when using the device to avoid burns. The equipment includes features such as an oil spray, a brush, and air blowing to aid in the release of the candy. 3) Cooling Tunnel Air-cooled. The setting values of defrosting and dehumidification can be set according to the needs, and the demolding will be smooth if the temperature needs to be controlled below 15 degrees Celsius. Set the temperature below 15 degrees. Start the freezer function 10 minutes before pouring. Turn on the cooling, fan, dehumidification and defrosting functions. 4) Z conveyor After producing the gummies, they will come out and fall on the conveyor belt. 5) Oil Coating Machine After producing the gummies, they will be fed into this machine via a conveyor machine. Start the machine to coat the gummies with oil. Circuit Stable voltage and current 220V Three-phase five-wire Remark: * The connection made is three-phase five-wire system. + Three-phase cable requirements: greater than 10mm 2 copper core or greater than 16 mm 2 aluminum core wire + The neutral wire is directly connected to the N terminal of the electric cabinet. * The ground wire is connected to the ground terminal in the electric cabinet and connected to the outdoor with a copper core wire larger than 10mm2, and the resistance cannot be greater than 0.10. www.LatiniUSA.com D. Placing the Equipment. 1) The storage tank system can be bolted to the ground directly with leveling screws. Due to its weight, it can be placed directly on the ground, but the surface must be level. If the ground is uneven, a triangular shim must be used to level the machine. 2) The depositing machine can be placed on the ground directly. Since the machine is heavy, it should be positioned directly. The ground must be perfectly flat. If the ground cannot be leveled, a triangular shim should be used. Furthermore, the motor base and the bottom of the machine base must be protected with 10mm rubber pads to prevent water washing the floor from corroding the machine base and extending the machine's life. E. Lubrication of moving parts This equipment has moving parts such as reducers and chains. For the normal operation of these parts, please lubricate them according to regulations. For Reducer, please use N320—N469¥# lubricating oil, replace the lubricating oil for the first time after the machine is used for 100 hours, and replace it every 2500 hours thereafter. For Bearings, please use 3# calcium-based lubricating grease and replace it once a year. For Drive chain, please use 30# lubricating oil, once a week. Then, turn the clean and deposit off + Temperature: Turn on the heating and heat preservation switches for each gear; the refrigeration system's refrigeration switch; the pipeline heat preservation switch; and the batching system's circulating pump switch. When the temperature of each system reaches the required level, turn on the batching system discharge switch and begin the operation.To ensure that the hopper can be fed, first press the reset button. Turn on the metering pump and the dynamic mixing switch. Transfer the syrup and flavor pigments to the hopper after ensuring that they are evenly mixed. + Deposit: Turn on the clean and deposit when the material has entered about one-third of the hopper. Examine the discharge nozzles on the distribution bottom plate for normal operation After that, turn off the clean and deposit. Remove the cleaning tray.
