Voice Changer Operation

Processing Modules Area

Figure 2: Voice Changer - Processing Modules Area

This is the main area where all the magic happens! There are three processing modules that
are working in series, each uniquely affecting the incoming voice. First, decide how your
character sounds like in the Character module. Then, you may want to spice things up by
equipping your character with a device from the Effect module. Lastly, choose the environment
into which your character is talking through the Environment module. Or feel free to go any
other way around! The possibilities are just too many.
Character module

Figure 3: Voice Changer - Character Module

The Character module lets you change your voice to match the voice of a specific character that
you may have in mind. Whether this is a robot, a dragon, or a tiny creature, you can find it in the
characters menu and turn it into something unique using the module's main knob. You don't
need to mess with setting complex effect chains up to change your voice. We did all that for you
behind the scenes! All you need to do is select a character from the list and apply as much
processing as you want using the knob.

The Character module consists of the following controls:

● Character Menu: Use this menu to find the voice of the character you're after.
Characters are grouped in dedicated categories for more convenience.
● Processing Knob: Use the knob to set the desired amount of processing for the
selected character. Whether you want your character to sound subtle or dramatic, you
can quickly achieve a unique sounding voice. At 0%, no processing is taking place at all.
● ON/OFF Switch: Use this to completely disable the Character module if you don't want
to use it.
Tip: Use the Next/Previous arrows of the Characters Menu to cycle through the available
characters.

Tip: You can quickly compare between the processed and the original voice by toggling the
ON/OFF switch of the module. This will help you understand how the module is affecting your
voice.

Tip: You can double-click on the knob to reset it to its default value.

Effect module

Figure 4: Voice Changer - Effect Module

The Effect module can make your voice or the voice of your character sound like it was
recorded through a device or a medium. Whether this is a telephone, a megaphone, or a
walkie-talkie effect, you can find it in the list and customize it using the module's main knob.
The Effect module consists of the following controls:

● Character Menu: Use this menu to find the device or the special effect you're after.
Effects are grouped in dedicated categories.
● Processing Knob: Use the knob to set the desired amount of processing for the
selected effect. From subtle up to dramatic results, you can quickly make something
unique for your voice. At 0%, no processing is taking place at all.
● ON/OFF Switch: Use this to completely disable the Effect module if you don't want to
use it.

Tip: Use the Next/Previous arrows of the Effect Menu to cycle through the available effects.

Tip: You can quickly compare between the processed and the original voice by toggling the
ON/OFF switch of the module. This will help you understand how the module is affecting your
voice.

Environment module

Figure 5: Voice Changer - Environment Module

The Environment module can make your voice or the voice of your character sound like it was
recorded in a completely different environment. From a typical bathroom to a deep dark cave,
you can find the desired location in the list and control the amount of processing using the
module's knob.

The Environment module consists of the following controls:

● Environment Menu: Use this menu to find the environment into which your character is
talking.
● Processing Knob: Use the knob to set the desired amount of processing for the
selected environment. From subtle up to dramatic results, you can quickly make
something unique for your voice. At 0%, no processing is taking place at all.
● ON/OFF Switch: Use this to completely disable the Environment module if you don't
want to use it.

Tip: Use the Next/Previous arrows of the Environment Menu to cycle through the available
environments.

Tip: You can quickly compare between the processed and the original voice by toggling the
ON/OFF switch of the module. This will help you understand how the module is affecting your
voice.
Presets menu

Figure 6: Voice Changer - Presets Menu

Voice Changer comes with several high-quality built-in presets. Covering almost all creative
scenarios a content creator might need, we hope these presets will help you find what you're
looking for to unleash your creativity! Presets are organized into packs, making it easier for you
to navigate.

Of course, you can create and save your custom presets and recall them at will. All user-made
presets are by default saved under the User Pack.

We're committed to expanding our presets to help you get even more creative. New packs of
presets will be automatically delivered to you regularly, and you'll get notified within the plug-in.
Stay tuned!

Tip: If you don't need to use a specific module for your custom preset, you can switch that
module off using its ON/OFF switch.
Output gain

Figure 7: Voice Changer - Output Gain

Some modules may slightly affect the volume of your voice. Use the Output Gain slider to
compensate for any volume changes.

Tip: If the red LED flashes at the right side of the Output meter, it means that your audio is
clipping. Roll back the Output Gain a bit and click on the LED to reset it.
Main ON/OFF switch

Figure 8: Voice Changer - ON/OFF switch

The Main ON/OFF switch allows you to switch Voice Changer on or off. When the switch is at
the OFF position, all processing is bypassed and the original signal comes through the plug-in
untouched.

Tip: We suggest to use the ON/OFF switch (instead of the bypass control of your video/audio
editor). This will keep your audio in sync with the rest of your tracks in your project.
Resizing the plug-in window

Figure 9: Voice Changer - Zoom menu

Voice Changer offers the option to resize the plug-in window. This can be especially helpful if
you have large or high-resolution screens or you just want to focus on a specific task. Click the
zoom icon at the top right corner and choose between three settings.

Warning: Low resolution screens such as 800x600 cannot correctly display the plug-in for zoom
options above 100%. Additionally, some video/audio editors may clip the plug-in window in such
low resolutions.
