Scope, Limitations, and Delimitation

The general intent of this study is to know and determine the lived experiences of the

students who live without their parents in Pantalan Senior High School with the focus of

knowing all the good and bad experiences of the said student.

This study will mainly identify the effects of living without parental guidance to the 20

selected students in Pantalan Senior High School who will be the participants of this

qualitative research. This study yearns to know the effects of living without parental

guidance to the students, for the school, who will be one of the beneficiaries of this

study, to have an idea what to recommend or plan to help the involved students.

This study has three limitations. The first limitation of this study is the small number of

participants, because this topic is sensitive, we anticipated that recruitment might not

meet targets. However, because this topic is sensitive, there are limited numbers of

researchers who conducted this research, so, the findings of this study offer new

potentially useful information for everyone. The second limitation of this study is that it is

only focused in Pantalan Senior High School, because it would be inconvenient for the

researchers if they would travel different schools. The last limitation of this study is the

limited amount of time that is given to the researchers.
