VIGNETTE

Walking down the road, there’s a huge red door right in the middle of a narrow
alley. The door has a rusty knob and I slowly turn the knob and it’s not locked. The door
makes a squeaky sound while opening it. I try to touch the wall and look for the switch
to turn the lights on but there’s nothing. Only total darkness succumbs me as I get inside
the room – feels like somebody is pulling me to go inside. As I calm myself and adapt my
eyes to the darkness of the room, I search for some familiar images. But I see nothing.
There’s a strong wind outside and it gets in through the broken window. The cold breeze
touches my skin. And a deafening silence covers the room in an instant. Just as I try to
escape the room, a loud bang from behind happens. The whooshing of the wind and the
chiming of the bells creep the hell out of me.

And just when I turn back, there’s a shadow, standing, so tall and is getting
closer, closer and closer!
