 Unit 13: Partial Differential Equations

Introduction

Partial differential equations are fundamental to the modeling of real life

phenomena such as heat, sound, fluid flow and etc. As ordinary differential
equations often used to model one dimensional dynamical systems, PDEs
are often used to model multidimensional dynamical systems.

Thus the aim of this unit is to discuss the basic concepts of partial
differential equations and derive few mathematical models for real life
dynamical system. Which involve PDEs, At the end of this unit we will
discuss some methods of solving system of PDEs.
