SELECTION COMPETITION
ERASMUS+ STUDY MOBILITIES FOR STUDENTS
HEALTH SCIENCES FOR THE 2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR

The Erasmus+ Office organizes an Erasmus+ call for study mobilities for students (SMS), academic year
2023-2024.

These mobilities can be accessed by students which are enrolled in the current academic year, 2022-2023,
according to their program of studies, as follows:

 Medicine and Medicine in English: 3rd and 4th year of study

 Dental medicine, Dental Medicine in English: 3rd and 4th year of study
 Pharmacy: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of study (students from current 4th year of study could perform
their mobility only in the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024)
 Nutrition and Dietetics: 1st and 2nd year of study
 General Nursing: 1st and 2nd year of study
 Medical cosmetics and technology of cosmetic product: 1st and 2nd year of study
 Medicinal Chemistry: 1st and 2nd year of study
Details

The duration of the study mobility is at least of one semester and will take place in a partner university
under the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

Eligibility criteria:
Students enrolled at George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of
Târgu Mureș.

Selection criteria:
 FULL CREDITED STUDENTS IN THE COMPLETED YEARS OF STUDY
 Academic performance: arithmetic average of completed years of study (average X 10). This
arithmetic average will be calculated by each student (based on the online student records
(Carnet online) and will then be confirmed by the Dean's Offices upon the request of the
Erasmus+ Office.
 Scientific performance: Number of abstracts published in journals as first author (n X 3) and as
co-author (max. 3 abstracts, n X 1). For each abstract, only one contributor will be considered
first author. Only documented performance will be considered. For each abstract you have to
provide copies from: the cover of the journal or abstract volume, the page containing the name,
period and location of the scientific event, the page(s) containing the abstract. The copy of the
abstract is compulsory; the diploma of participation is in no way a substitute for it!
Only abstracts that have already been published in an abstract volume will be considered.

by the legal representatives of the student leagues of the university will be accepted together
with the abstract, but only for those abstracts that have already been accepted for presentation.

 The status of tutor/demonstrator: should be supported by a certificate released by the Dean's

Office, and also signed by the head of the department concerned.
Only the tutor/demonstrator activity carried out prior to the selection call (at least 2 modules) will
be taken into consideration. The total score obtained after the file evaluation will be increased by
the commission by 10%, according to the internal rules of the university.

Applications must be submitted between 14.03.2023- 04.04.2023 by e-mail:

NO additional documents will be accepted after submission. Incomplete files or files that do not meet
the selection criteria will be automatically rejected.

For the Faculty of Medicine: anca.rachita@umfst.ro, in one single PDF document, named as follows:
SURNAME, FIRST NAME, FACULTY and YEAR OF STUDY (e.g. Popescu Ana, Medicine, 3rd year),
containing all the necessary documents as indicated below.

For the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Dentistry: silviana.tulbure@umfst.ro, in one single PDF
document, named as follows: SURNAME, FIRST NAME, FACULTY and YEAR OF STUDY (e.g. Popescu Ana,
Medicine, 3rd year), containing all the necessary documents as indicated below.

The PDF document must contain the following:

 Application form
 Evidence of scientific performance
 EUROPASS CV
 Cover letter mentioning the options (maximum two options)
 Identity Card/passport
