Q1. Consider a simply supported beam of span 20 ft and cross-section b=14in, h=20in. The beam
is subjected to uniformly distributed super dead load of 1.5K/ft and live load 2.0K/ft. Using
fc'=3ksi and fy=40ksi, Design it in ETAB/SAP2000 and validate the numerical results through
manual work.
