Part 2: (Essay)

Throughout the years everyone develops habits, good or bad. Habits develop from a young
age so we must make sure to practise some good habits. Good habits are essential in life in
several different ways but it could also help you to be more successful. A person with good
habits is able to make steady progress in life. On the other hand, a person with bad habits could
sometimes be digging their own grave. So let’s ask ourselves, what are some good habits we
can practice?

Among the many good habits is exercising. Exercising could be very good for our health,
our health would be detrimental without it. It can reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones
and muscles, and improve our ability to do everyday activities. When you feel stressed, you can
also do some exercise to help relieve it. You can exercise anywhere, anytime like in the gym or
at home but it is recommended to exercise 3 times weekly. If you feel embarrassed exercising in
the gym alone, you can invite some of your friends or family members to work out with you. It
could really enlighten your experience of working out. That’s why we shouldn’t lead a sedentary
lifestyle and break a sweat exercising in our free time.

Another good habit we should all develop is reading. Constantly reading and learning
would be great for our education as it could widen our vocabulary. We could also learn how to
write advanced sentences for our essay by especially reading novels. As the saying goes, “time
is gold”. We shouldn’t waste our free time lying around, doing nothing but instead we should fill it
in a meaningful way by reading. We can read at the library with our friends or read by ourselves
with a cup of tea in our hands, just relaxing. It could really give you some peace of mind from all
stressful events happening in your life.

In conclusion, good habits are important for everyone irrespective of age. Good habits are
the foundation of your social life and also your achievements. Good habits should be instilled
during childhood, however it can be practised at any age. We should also try to lean away from
practising bad habits as bad habits die hard. There is no reason to not practise good habits so
that is why we should strive to practise good habits.
