Explanation: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently cancelled the Certificate of
Authorisation (CoA) of Vodafone m-pesa after it voluntarily surrendered its authorisation.

Explanation: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K Palaniswami recently announced a new
initiative called ‘Direct CTO (Consent to Operate)’, which aims to provide faster clearance to
companies which operate under ‘Green category industries’.
The companies are classified in red, orange, green and white categories based on the pollution
index generated, according to Ministry of Environment. This scheme is expected to benefit
micro, small and medium enterprises under ‘Green category’ to commence their operations with
faster clearance from the government.

Explanation: The government has recently constituted a 12-membered high-level panel recently
set up to prepare an investigation manual for Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO).
As per the recent order issued by the Corporate affairs ministry, Corporate Affairs Secretary
Injeti Srinivas would chair the panel. The committee will devise a comprehensive manual for
performing effective investigations and probes against white-collar crimes.
