■ Total : 500 marks
Mandatory Requirements
■ Obey the rules and regulations of the industry
■ Every Saturday is reporting day at DDU
■ Contact guides for project work
■ Prepare project report for both phases in
proper format (2 copies to be submitted)
Advice - I
■ Learn as much as you can from engineers and
management there
■ Ask questions, be involved in the day to day training
■ Try to make a positive contribution to the company –
completing projects/tasks; ideas/suggestions; helping
them out
■ You are representing DDU – make a positive
impression
■ Show interest in the plant, operations, people
Advice -II
■ For those who do not have placement yet, do so
well in your training that they will offer you a job
■ Your respective guides/ panal will provide more
information on the industrial training, training
reports, design of equipment, etc.
■ Use various sources of information – Chemical
Engineer’s Handbook; trade & technical
journals; internet; textbooks & reference books
