The words in this short write-up changed my life and I hope it changes
yours. I must warn you, it contains content that will challenge you,
maybe upset you but in the end, I am sure your thinking will be
stronger just like diamonds. The precious stone resisted the pressure
and heat that formed them, but after enduring the pressure of
transformation, they come out as one of the most valuable stones to
mankind.

at the 15th convocation
ceremony of the Wold
Changers Set.

We are face to face with a generation bereaved of heroes because of the

diverse distractions that they are yet to be put under control. It’s a
playboy generation where young people consume a lot of garbage
through social media platforms. The majority are busy seeking
shortcuts.
Many crave to build sky

scrapers without any
foundation to sustain them.
Cybercrime has been on the increase globally as many youths hate the
word: “
Work
”. They don’t want it. Many want to walk without first crawling. Many
have not learned to walk, but they want to run. Many will not run, they
just want to fly.
I have identified 3 key problems; 99+
3 Problems.
1. We have an emerging generation on the wrong side of history

whose mission is mainly to consume and not to produce.
2. A lot of young people are pursuing programs and running courses

that have no bearing on the future they look forward to having.
3. On the other hand, the majority are not looking forward to any
future at all.
Ask many young people, "what do you see in your future?":
Get married, have children, build a house, buy a car and when
you are old you die.
No one has a place in destiny without a vision. No one can secure the
fulfilment of a vision without giving it a run of his life. Here is a wake-
up call to an army of sleeping giants: to an army of youth who must 99+

wake up to take full responsibility ;
1. To seek vision for their lives because no one arrives at a future he

cannot see ( Check out Genesis 13:14 — 15)
2. To prepare to pursue such a vision to full realization because no one

arrives at a future he is not prepared for (Check out 2 Chronicles
27:6)
If a man does not know where he is going, everywhere may look

like it
Without preparation, a vision is short-lived and frustrated
No giant ever emerged in any field without adequate preparation

for their pursuit

Life without a vision is an adventure in frustration, life without a 99+

bearing is a burden, only those who know where they are going ever
get anywhere.
No one ever arrives at a future he cannot see neither does anyone arrive
at a future he is not pressed for.
Praying without planning and

playing without knowing,
planning without
programming is living in the
woods and programming
without pursuit is dining with
the dead. — Dr. David
Oyedepo.
So what is Planning: Programming to secure the present and capture the

future: It’s a whole lot of job. That’s why the enemy is trying to steal
your time and rob you of your place in destiny.
Some points to remember.

All of the above need time for implementation and that is the trap 99+

of social media.
Social Media unconsciously robs people of their future by

robbing them of their time.
This nation may lose its heroes to social media disasters. We’ve
been talking about natural disasters, war and now we have one with
us; more deadly than coronavirus.
We’ve never had mental challenges like we’ve had this year. It’s
from all the garbage that we gather on social media platforms. We
must wake up from our slumber to deal with the monster.
Here is a wake-up call to an army of sleeping giants, an army of youth

who must take full responsibility to take control of their lives. Seek
vision for your life because no one arrives for a life he’s not prepared
for. My prayer for you today is that this graduating class will step out
and make a difference by placing real value on time.

You don’t run with another man’s legs to win a race, you need your
own legs. You don’t engage another man’s knowledge to write an
exam, you need your own knowledge

A lot of precious time is stolen and willingly so and unconsciously so.
I have invested 16 hours

minimum on my assignment
on a daily basis. You can’t get
out of life more than what you 99+

On shopping and other activities that I realized take precious time: I

don’t have a strange size, if I want to buy something you can buy for
me using my size.

Sometimes you need to delete social media from your phone and use
social media like a professional.
Suddenly we are faced with a generation on the wrong side of history.

The honour of this generation has been wiped off, chatting all day, with
no time left to think, plan, programme and engage productively in the
pursuit of any task.
Every fine arts product

consumes a great deal of time.
Many youths spend less than
10–20% of their time on their
tasks per day.
Their ears are always plugged even on the road with no free time to
think. We must devise a way to put a check on free access to social
media, particularly those that are not adding value to our lives.
Beware the quality of any life

is a product of quality
investments of the time of
individuals. Beware of time 99+

looters.
The more time we spend on a given task the better result we get. It’s
time for every graduating student to wake up from his or her slumber
and take their destiny in their hands.
Every heroic accomplishment in life is a product of heroic engagement.

This is because there is no star without a scar and the scar of every star
is sacrifice.
Please note that no generation ever lacks men or women of global

impact. The challenge is that the number is continually in the decrease
because many young people have chosen crooked paths for themselves.
Investing in things that don’t have any value to their course.

Each of you will soar higher than anyone you may have seen in the
course of your adventure in life by engaging the best of your time in the
pursuit of vision.

The world operates a seed time and harvest system and no one can get
out of life beyond what he or she is willing to put into it.

and see you up there not down here. That’s where you’re going and you

Engage in strategic planning on how to approach your quest to see

your vision come to pass
Programme your steps of action and give your pursuit the best you
can
Remember, There is nothing extraordinary on its own, it’s one

Strive to go beyond your best as may be demanded in your pursuit

Therefore those who are yet to know where their life is heading should
take advantage of the NYSC year to discover their mission and purpose
on ether and embark on intense preparation to give them the best of a
push for delivery.
Let me conclude by saying,
Everyone is absolutely responsible for the outcome of their life,

therefore see you wherever you wish to find yourself. I can’t get you
there.
Let me charge the parents of the graduating set. 99+
No eaglets emerge an Eagle in the nest. Every eaglet must be allowed

to go out to the air else they will die as eaglets in the nest. These young
ones are no longer babies and must not be found on your laps. Give
them the opportunity to develop their wings. Do not try to bathe a son
when he is not sick, do not dress up a daughter that is not paralyzed.
Nursing a grown-up son or daughter is failed parenting.
You must get out of the nest so you don’t destroy your colourful future.
Continue to honour your parents for their sacrificial investments in
providing quality education through their hard work and sacrifices.
