Introduction Berbera's trade routes infrastructure has been completed whether it is the Port, the Economic Zone, Berbera-Hargeisa Road and Kalabaydh to Wajaale road, these infrastructures are designed to play a part in the growth and facilitation of transit goods to Ethiopia and to other landlocked countries. Therefore, itis obligatory to work hard to increase the amount of goods passing through the Berbera corridor, by setting a new policy to facilitate transit goods to Ethiopia and neighboring countries. The policy will set the procedure to facilitate the goods in transit to Ethiopia and other neighboring countries. 2. The Purpose of the Transit goods policy ‘The main purpose of the transit goods policy is to increase the amount of '—_ transit goods importing/exporting through Berbera port and the Economic zone. We will clearly explain the procedure that will be followed for goods identified as transit goods.3. Transit Permitted Goods.
