Updated On January 08, 2023, by Sanyam Jain: As the main story continues in the fourth region called
Sumeru, the developers produce yet another masterpiece with fantastic lore and beautiful cutscenes. In
the end, Scaramouche finally got the closure he deserved ever since the Traveler first met him.

The story kicks off in Genshin Impact's official manga, which can be found on their website. This story
isn't essential to the experience you'll have in Teyvat, but you'll connect with it a lot more after knowing
what happened before we started the game.

The starting region is introduced in the manga along with some familiar characters and the Fatui, it
shows Venti and Venessa as they free Mondstadt from a tyrannical rule and establish the Knights of
Favonius.

It then jumps ahead to a few years before the beginning of the game's story, where the Fatui have
arrived in Mondstadt along with Collie, a young girl who has been infused with Deev energy. At the same
time, Dottore, number two of the Fatui Harbingers, is visiting Mondstadt and catches the attention of
both Diluc and Kaeya.

During the manga, we see growth in Collei's character as we learn that Dottore's presence is not a
coincidence, since Collei was his experimental subject. His attempt to get her back is largely foiled by the
people of Mondstadt where Diluc is also seen using a Delusion.

Amber successfully saves Collei from Krupp, another Fatui member who tried to harvest Collei's power.
Finally, Cyno makes an appearance and decides to take Collei with him to Sumeru
