Student Council A FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING A Design RATIONALE: One of the Governments campaign is to minimize the cause of global warming. The Business Administration Student Council and the Quarks Organization would like to support the governments campaign against global warming by means of generating programs and projects that will minimize the cause of global warming. Burning of plastic wrappers, rubbers, styrofoams etc. are one of the main causes of global warming. Hence, the BASC and the QUARKS Organization created a joint project entitled A FIGHT AGAINST GLOBAL WARMING. OBJECTIVES: 1. 2. 3. 4. To support the governments campaign against global warming. To minimize plastic wastes, styrofoam and other non-biodegradable garbage materials. To develop students creativity through recycling. To educate the students on the effects of global warming, be more responsible and disciplined in disposing their garbage properly. 5. To promote the usage of biodegradable materials. METHODOLOGY: 1. The activity will be launched on _________________. 2. The awarding ceremony will be on ___________________. 3. All the students from the Business Administration Department and all the members from the Quarkz Organization are required to join in the said activity. 4. Each block is required to join and create 1 entry. 5. Materials to be used should be plastic wrappers, plastic bottles, or any non-biodegradable junk materials. 6. Participants will create things from junk materials such as pillows, curtains, gowns etc. 7. Every BSBA student and Quarks members are obliged to give P 5.00 as their registration fee. 8. All entries will be presented in an exhibit a week before the awarding ceremony. 9.
