Comparative as….as / not as…as

People from Morelia are as friendly as people from Merida.

A plastic bracelet isn’t as expensive as a silver one.

Comparative so… that

The water was so cold that we couldn’t swim last Friday morning.

The class was so boring that I fell asleep.

Note: We always use an adjective or adverb in the middle of these

comparative expressions.

Comparative and superlative with less and least

3D televisions are the most expensive ones. Smart televisons are less

expensive.

HD televisions are the least expensive of the three.
