Notes
Initial Disassembly of the Signature can be found in the fist three Steps in TB0080. Once the Unit is unfolded at the end of
780080, please follow the steps below to reach the top of layer of Main PCB:

Inspection and testing for Signature and analog consoles
This section shows how to inspect and test Signature consoles, but these practices can also be used on other SC Analog Console.
‘Stop # Troubleshooting Check! =
1 | Visual inspection of the Main PCB: Inspecting over the Main PCB, a few things to look for are
1. Look for any loose or broken components; primarily Faders and Potenti-
ometers.
2, DamagediBiown Electrolyic Capacitors. Photos of what these might look
like are pictured further below in the Found problem section,
3, ICIOP-AMPs that may be burnt due to overheating,
2 Input Channel Troubleshooting This wil assist in finding issues if one Input Channel does not function andi
Fis creating noise.

Troubleshooting skills for other Soundcraft analog consoles
‘The practice of troubleshooting an Input Channel circuit and Output circuit, and other skills brought up inthis document can carry over
to other Analog Console troubleshooting practices. While layouts and schematics might have subile variances, the foundation of the
‘Analog consoles functionally is bull upon the same practice, These troubleshooting practices can carry over to other SC Analog con-
soles, such as the EMP, EFX, FX16i, LX7ii, MFX, et,Input Channel Schematic
