Study Group

Hi all, my name is Aqilah Haura Zahra; you can call me Aqilah. I will tell you all about my
story when I was in junior high school (13 years old). At that time, I was in my last year of
junior high school, approaching the school exam period leading to high school. During the last
3 months before the exam, I was under a lot of pressure, having to take lessons and try out
every week. My target score has not been reached, even though among my friends my grades
are high, so I become sensitive and emotional whenever and wherever.

Two months before school exams, my friend, Firman, invited me to join his study group.
Without thinking for a long time, I agreed to join the study group. The study group consisted
of 7 people (including me), 4 girls, and 3 boys. Initially, I only knew four people in the study
group because four of them were my classmates (Fiman, Samuel, Qori, and Rossa). But in the
end, I also got to know two other people close to me (Iwan and Tari).

Every day, we studied together by discussing last year's exam questions. Often, we studied
together at school or at the teachers' houses. We always make an agreement before visiting the
teacher's house we are aiming for. All the teachers we visited looked enthusiastic about guiding
and teaching us. We always do joint learning activities, directly or indirectly. If it is not possible
to carry out joint study activities in person, we take another alternative by studying via
WhatsApp video calls. Until finally, we faced school exams, and thankfully, our grades did not
disappoint. Our study group is still active today, and I usually ask my friends if there are
questions that I don't understand or vice versa. I am very grateful to have joined to be part of
this study group, I hope our friendship will continue until later.
