Thesis statement: state your position on the issue and a reason.

Body Paragraph

Introducing Claim+ Evidences to support your claim+ analyses on how the evidence support the thesis
statement. The use of rhetorical devices/ persuasive techniques/literary devices.

Phrases to use to analyze the evidence

- This shows…
- This proves….
- This is evident….

Body Paragraph Counter claim (refute the argument)

Acknowledging the opposing side of the argument and refute it.

 Some people disagree, saying… but I believe


 Others may say but many people argue or there is a strong evidence……

How to refute an argument?

A writer can refute an opposing argument by successfully countering it through evidence, whether it's
evidence that conclusively disproves it by its findings or because it's more recent or credible evidence.

Last Paragraph (conclusion)

The Conclusion:

In a conclusion, you summarize the most important details from your argument and try for the last time
to convince your reader about your argument. The conclusion must:

1. Restate your thesis (argument)

2. Summarize your main points

3. End with a finalizing statement about future implications for your topic.
