Total Marks 15 Word limit: 1300 words You need to write a case study based on the interview you have conducted. The objective of the submission: To understand how the war of independence affected your family. How to write it: Find out from the older relatives in the family—grandparents, parents (?), uncles, etc. If a more aged neighbor is ready to talk, you can also ask them. What you shall ask: 1. Where did the incident/incidents take place? General time frame 2. What are the identities of the people who are narrating? Social, political, and other identities 3. Was anyone they know killed, hurt, or injured in the war? If so, who, how, and when? 4. Did they have to hide? Run away, saw others in such situations? 5. Did the Pak army visit the area? Did they do anything? 6. Did some people form Peace committees? Who were the members? What were their activities? 7. Did they see, or know of any Mukti Fouj? Who were they? Local? From another area? Their class and social group? 8. Were there any Hindu Community members in the area? What was their situation in general? Did they leave for India or live in BD? If anyone was there, what did they do during festivals like Puja? 9. Where did they hide? Did Muslims shelter them? Did they lose property? Suffer physically, etc. 10. What was the price level of essential commodities that year? Rice, dal, salt etc. Did they have shortages of anything? What was their average meal like in that year? 11. Did they have any social events like marriage, milad etc. How was it? Did they celebrate Eid? How different was it from previous Eids? 12. Do they have a memory of victory and celebration as well as related violence after 16, December? Instruction: The case study should have an introduction (introduce the person you interviewed), a body, and a well thought and well-written conclusion. You can also quote the person directly, and let your data do the talking. That will make your analysis more authentic and interesting to read. Avoid Plagiarism at any cost (Students who are found to plagiarize will be heavily penalized to the extent of being rusticated with no second thought). More than 15% similarity will be considered plagiarism. Submit the assignment in a doc file in Turnitin by 22th December, 2022 Late submission will NOT be accepted.
