A8 arm board download process

1. Install the “sp27213.exe” (HP USB Disk Storage Format tool installer) software, then execute it in start
menu, as follow:

2. Plug the TF memory card (4GB,/8GB/16GB/32GB, max 32GB) to the card reader, Click “Start” to
format the TF card, as follow:
3. Copy the following 5 files to the root path of the TF card:

4. Before update, write down (Or take a picture) all the value in the service 1999 (motor steps & gains)
and 2008 (internal calibration, whole blood and pre-diluent mode) menu.

5. After copied the 5 files to the TF card, turn off the analyzer, and plug the TF card to the TF card slot on
the ARM board.

6. There is a switch SW2 on the ARM board, as follow:

7. Put a jumper to SW2, then turn on the analyzer, it will show upgrading on the screen, as follow:

Note: If there is no jumper, could use a coin/KEY/tweezer to connect the 2 pins of WS2, then turn on the
analyzer, disconnect it until “Upgrading….” Show on the screen.

8. After a few minutes, A message “The upgrade is complete” will show on the screen, upgrade process
done.

9. Turn off the analyzer, take the TF card off, remove the jumper on SW2 jumper, then restart the
analyzer
10. Re-input the value of service 1999 and 2008 that we have record in the step 4
