    BAILEY CASTLE
    PRESENTATION
    Dear King William, we have designed an
    AMAZING Motte and Bailey Castle for you.
    Here it is: Hello!

    We are going to improve this


    castle to make it much better.
    Let us show you how we are
    going to do it.

    Both castles contain a ditch, a


    stable, a wall, a kitchen, a
    tower and barracks.
    Help!
    I’m not prepared
    enough!

    As you can see, this castle is


    not strong enough to protect
    William’s army from the rebels.

    These walls are made of wood


    and it can burn easily, also it
    doesn’t have many defensive
    buildings.We will improve it
    with better things.
    Now, I’m
    prepared for
    battle!!

    This Motte and Bailey


    Castle is better because
    now it has stone walls,
    defensive archer
    towers. And the
    buildings are made of
    stone too so they are
    more resistant and cant
    burn.
    Wow!
    How high!

    The castle is located


    here, in the Scafell Pike.
    It is a very high
    mountain in England.
    Thanks to that guards
    can see enemies coming
    from above, throw
    arrows at them and also
    it is hard to climb up to
    the top.
