Vision
As a Filipino and a Methodist University, WU-P fosters
God’s vision for humanity through academic excellence,
innovative research, transformative leadership, and care
for the environment imbued with social holiness.

Mission
For the glory of God, Wesleyan University-Philippines
provides quality education imbued with Wesleyan
spirituality to produce competent and conscientious
graduates committed to the healing of persons and the
renewal of the whole creation.
Core Values
Competence. We promote high academic standards carried
out by highly capable faculty members and employees in
equipping the students and the WU-P communities with
cutting-edge knowledge and skills and the refinements of
liberal arts responsive to development.

Aims and Objectives
1. Select and train teachers along various chosen lines of
specialization.

2. Develop teachers who will be well-equipped in producing


students who will possess desirable mental socio-economic and
spiritual values.

3. Develop special abilities on democratic school and classroom


management and bring about progressive and curricular reforms.

4. Produce committed and service-oriented teachers.

5. Motivate teachers to make them aware of and accept their


meaningful roles in the Philippine educational system through
their active participation and contribution.

6. Assist teachers to acquire self-direction and a high degree of


world-class professional competence.

7. Produce professional competence as exemplified in the life


and teaching of Jesus Christ.
