All tests required by the codes and standards as well as all manufactures tests have to be

The test program for the work shop test has to be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to start of
the tests. Noted

The following tests shall be carried out, at least:

full load run with measurement of all output data, comply

check of all unit data under full load conditions, comply
vibration check, comply
mechanical operation test on circuit breakers, comply
functional tests to prove all alarms, signals, indications, shut downs, etc., comply
operation of speed governor, overspeed trip and voltage regulator, comply
test of auxiliary devices. comply

Detailed test protocols of all tests performed have to be submitted prior to shipment.

Type tests shall not be performed if the Contractor submits a copy of the type test
certificates for similar type and rating. If not available type test shall be carried out on one
identical unit. Comply

site acceptance test is avaiable when genset is installed and ready for operate with site load

The site tests shall include the following steps:

pre-
commissioning and test on completion,
performance test.

The workshop tests described above test shall be repeated on site by the Contractor after
erection. Alkhorayef will make startup for genset when site is ready for operation

Special care shall be taken for setting of protection devices, relays, setting must be done
according to the approved selectivity study. Comply for genset

The aim of the tests is to ensure the proper function of the complete scope. Comply for genset

Complete documentation shall be provided for the design, manufacturing, testing,

commissioning, start-up, operation, maintenance and repair of the emergency diesel
generator sets and their components. comply
