CASE # 6 - A 57-year-old woman comes to the physician because of 1 month history of

progressive weakness and fever. She has had increased difficulty climbing stairs and standing
from a seated position. Co morbidities: diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension. Concomitant
medication: Methformine, ACE inhibitor. There’s no history of arthritis or psoriasis, no IBD or
inflammatory eye diseases, also no family history of arthritis or psoriasis.
 INCLUSION BODY MYOSITIS
