CHARLIE'S BEDROOM - VERY EARLY MORNING

Room is dark with an assortment of items scattered about the

entire room. Backpacks are open on floor with school work and
clothes spilling out.

CHARLIE is asleep, a contented smile on their face.

DELTA stands next to the bed, looking slightly panicked.

After a moment, Delta crouches to pack up their school bag.

They endeavor to be a quiet as possible. As they pack, their
school papers rustle. Delta freezes.

Charlie awakens, and groggily sits up to see what is

happening.

Delta turns to look at Charlie and they make eye contact.

They hold it for just a little too long.

Delta turns back to putting their stuff away.

Charlie quietly gets out of bed and crouches by Delta.

Charlie puts their hand on Delta's shoulder but Delta pulls

away.

Charlie grabs Delta's hand and tries to pull them up to the

bed.

Delta pulls away, finishes putting their stuff in their bag,

gets up and heads towards the door.

Charlie then blocks the door, stopping Delta from exiting.

Delta glares at Charlie before pushing them aside and exiting

the room, closing the door quietly behind them.

Charlie stares at the door before sinking down on to the bed.
