DRIVER’S REHABILITATION PROGRAMME FOR THE REISSUANCE OF A DRIVING

PERMIT UNDER THE DEMERIT POINTS SYSTEM

Please be advised that in keeping with Section 88N (3) of the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic
(Amendment) Act 2017, a person who is disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving permit may
be reissued with a driving permit by the Licensing Authority where he/she:

a) participates in a driver’s rehabilitation programme approved by the Licensing Authority;

b) passes a driving test; and
c) pay the prescribed fee(s) for the reissuance of the driving permit.

Therefore, in order to be reissued with a driving permit, you are required to participate in and
successfully complete a driver’s rehabilitation programme with either of the following agencies
detailed below:

Please contact the either of the above agencies at your earliest convenience to obtain details on the
Programme and its associated fees. Kindly note that the Programme may be completed during the
period of your disqualification. During this time, you are to also ensure that outstanding fixed
penalties are paid at an authorized TTPOST payment location (where applicable).
