Corridor by passing through the Chicane. The Sorting gate is used to
stop the animals in order to take them either to the holding area or
the Corridor. This Corridor can take the animals to a Cattle Crush. The
Sorting gate must be used with a Safety shutter, mounted on a post
which allows the movement of the Sorting gate and the orientation of
the cattle to the Corridor.
The different elements have been designed to suit to almost any

layout. Our local staff is available for any request you may have.

HOT DIP GALVANIZING
AND STORAGE INFORMATION
All our material is hot dip galvanized under the ISO standard 1461.
The hot dip galvanizing adds a zinc based coating which protects the steel from corrosion. The equipments are dipped in
a zinc bath 450°, which protects them from corrosion in both inside and outside environments.
The 1461 standard «Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel products» defines the properties , the mini-
mum thickness and the coating feature as well as the testing methods that allows to control the zinc thickness or zinc, the
appearance and adhesion, and the compliance criteria.
The zinc’s thickness can vary depending on the material’s conception, the chemical composition of the steel, its thickness
and other elements; however the zinc thickness is always within the 1461 standard.
When exposed to the atmosphere, zinc reacts with ambient elements: humidity, oxygen, carbonic gas... to form a patina,
which means a decrease of the metallic luster of the surface.
However, in the presence of stagnate water, the coating can be degraded and some whitish stains can appear. These stains
do not damage the material or its protection.
Our galvanization factory partner is certified under ISO 9002.
Our material must be stored only on non-tannic wood, it cannot be stored directly on the ground. You must let some space
between the ground and the material in order to prevent stagnate water.
A long contact with aggressive agents like clay, tuft, fertilizers and pesticides may lead to a deterioration of the zinc coating.
WARNING !
Due to aggressiveness of grind vegetables and manure, it’s essential to apply before use the bituminous paint
TR0005 on the following material : bottom of post, bottom of back and Freestall pin, knee pad, support ... and
then periodically. This layer is insoluble, adhesive and give an additional protection to the coating.
