Abstract:
The paper presents a face recognition system that incorporates sketches and photographs.
The system uses a two-step approach, where the visual elements of each face image are extracted
and stored as image signatures in a feature database.
A similarity algorithm is then used to compare query sketches with the stored features, allowing
for interactive search and classification of photos.
The paper also discusses the implementation and evaluation of the proposed system.

Approach:
The approach used in this study is based on data selection rather than creating a new loss function
and quadruplet input format.
The system processes face images offline to extract visual elements such as shape, texture, and
spatial information.
These elements are stored and indexed in a feature database.
The user can then search for face photographs that resemble a query sketch by comparing their
features using a similarity algorithm.

Algorithms:
The study describes the algorithm used to extract relevant features from face photographs and
sketches.
The algorithm utilizes descriptors to capture visual and semantic aspects of the faces.
It also employs a specific similarity algorithm to compare the query sketch with the features
extracted from the database.
The paper presents a flowchart illustrating the implementation of the algorithm.

Results:
The paper includes figures showing the model accuracy and loss results.
The model accuracy increases with each epoch, indicating improved performance over time.
The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in matching sketches to face
photographs.
The paper also acknowledges the limitations of the dataset used in the testing phase and
highlights the contributions of the authors to the research.

The paper focuses on the development of a new approach for face recognition using sketches in photos.
The proposed method involves a two-stage technique that includes a personalized face search algorithm
and the use of Local Feature-based Discriminant Analysis (LFDA). The results of the study indicate that
the approach improves the accuracy of face recognition compared to existing methods.
