Scenario

Construction is a high profit making and complex industry comprising large variety of projects like Highway
projects, Building projects, Bridge projects, Water supply projects etc. Therefore, to take part in those
projects the Civil Engineer should be able to work as a team member and should have a sound knowledge
about devising a project, evaluating different solutions, designing & implementation of a project considering
variety of constrains.

‘GampahaBuilders’ is a C 2 graded well reputed construction company which undertakes medium scale
Constructions projects in Sri Lanka. Further they are famous for giving structural solutions for minor
structural defects in medium scale construction projects. For their projects they recruit Civil Engineering
diplomats who have sound technical skills and management skills to run their projects efficiently. Assume
you are a young Engineering diplomat passed out recently from ACTA and recruited by Gampaha builders
for their construction projects. In that organization you have to work as an active team member in project
devising, proposal evaluating, designing and implementing etc.
