At NAU, we seak to have the best and brightest from around the world studying on our campus and we recognize you as one of those ‘outstanding students we look forward to welcoming to campus. ‘The following explains the specifics of the International Excellence Award + Award Amount ‘© $10,000 renewable (see terms) award applied to graduate tuition for your first year of study at NAU, exclusive of class fees, university fees, meal or housing costs, or health insurance. $5,000 is applicable for fall and $5,000 for the spring semester. + Terms of Award © First time, ful-time, F-1, graduate degree-seeking international student (must be enrolled full- time: 9 credit hours). This award is vai for the Flagstaff Mountain Campus only. © The award will be pro-rated per credit hour if you are approved for a reduced course load. © Complete International Lumberjack Orientation. + Renewability ‘© This award is renewable for up to one year following the fist year of academic study (Master's degree) and up to three years following the first year of academic study (PhD). © You must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to renew this award for $10,000 per academic year. © Your NAU GPA will be reviewed at the end of each academic year and, provided you meet the terms of award listed above, will be automatically renewed each academic year for the course of your study. © Students having received this award for the first academic year, who do not maintain an NAU GPA of atleast a 3.0 will not qualify for renewal of this award, + Combining awards ‘This award cannot be used if student is granted a graduate assistantship. ‘© This award is disbursed in the form of a tuition waiver.
