GOAL

To show the pre requisites required for a working example of the Min Max Report in Subinventory Detail mode.

SOLUTION

1. Initial setup in Product management, the common mistake is to setup Min­Max Planning within the Planning Attribute
set, this is at Organization Level and will have no effect on any requirement to produce at Subinventory (will not appear
on report even if quantity on a subinventory location falls within / below bounds and report is in subinventory mode).

2. In Inventory management Item, Manage Item Quantities, we can see that there is an on hand for Subinventory
which is below the minimum required and should trigger a Min­Max report entry.

3. Naviagte to Setup & Maintenance > Task > Manage Subinventories > click button Manage Item Subinventories

4. This is currently unpopulated, level of detail for Min Max planning has not yet been defined.

7. Submission of scheduled process 'Print Min­Max Planning Report', Planning Level is set to 'Subinventory' and for
speed a specific subinventory is being reported upon.

9. The Min­Max report shows subinvetory controlled information (despite an entry for Org based processing also
existing in Product management definition, indeed this entry is not required if only subinventory based processing is
needed and it's absence can avoid confusion)
