INTRODUCTION
All praise is due to Allah. We seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek
His refuge against the evil of ourselves. Whoever has been guided by Allah will
never be misguided, and whoever He misguides will never receive guidance
from anyone. I testify that there is none worthy of worship truly in truth except
Allah alone, and that Muhammad ‫( صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬may Allah send peace and
blessings upon him) is His Messenger and Worshipper.

O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared. And die

not except in the state of Islam (as Muslims).1

O mankind be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a

single person (Adam), and from him, He created his wife, and
from them both He created many men and women, and fear
Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights) and
maintain family ties (kinship). Surely, Allah is ever an All-Watcher
over you.2

O you who believe: Keep your duty to Allah and fear Him, and
speak upright words. He will direct you to do righteous good
deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah
and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great achievement.3

Indeed, the best speech is Allah’s Book, and the best guidance is that of
Muhammad ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬. The evilest of affairs are newly-invented ones (in
the religion), for every newly-invented practice is an innovation (bid’ah), every
innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire.

Tamim bin Aus ad Dari, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:

The Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said, "The Deen is sincerity". We said:
"For whom?" He replied, "For Allah, His Book, His Messenger,
and for the leaders of the Muslims and their masses".4

To act on this great hadith, considering that trials and tribulations (fitan)
have become widespread, what is the correct Islamic position of a Muslim
during times of trials and tribulations to protect his religion and honor?
I say that with Allah comes all success.

THE 1 ADVICE
AVOID SHIRK AND PAY ATTENTION TO ‘AQEEDAH

Do not associate partners with Allah — even if you were burnt or cut
apart. For indeed, with the mercy of Allah and His forgiveness, He informed us
that He forgives all sins:

Indeed, Allah forgives all sins...5

As for Shirk, Allah also informed us that He does not forgive a person
who dies upon it:

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He

forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who
associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a
tremendous sin.6

That is why Luqman the Wise, when he was admonishing his son with the
utmost seriousness, he started by explaining the dangers of Shirk to his son. Of
the dangers he mentioned to him was that Shirk is the greatest of sins, as well as
the filthiest of them.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Luqman said to his son

while he was instructing him, “O my son, do not associate
[anything] with Allah. Indeed, association of [with him] is a great
injustice.7

And Allah has also said:

5
Qur’an - Az Zumar: 53
6
Qur’an - An Nisaa’: 48
7
Qur’an - Luqmaan: 13
7
Indeed, he who associates others with Allah – Allah has
forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are
not for the wrongdoers any help.8

Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him...9

In addition to this, the Messenger of Allah has said:

Whoever dies associating partners with Allah will enter Hell.10

Jabir Ibn Abdillah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:

The Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said: “Whoever meets Allah
without associating partners with Him will enter Jannah, and
Whoever meets Him associating partners with Him will enter
Hell.”11

Shirk has become widespread among Muslims nowadays. They prioritize

their physical health but are not enthusiastic about having the correct and sound
creed (‘aqeedah). Shaykh Saalih al Fawzaan, may Allah preserve him, said:

The weakness in creed is the real disease that must be cured by

learning Tawheed and the correct Islamic beliefs.12

THE 2 ADVICE
HAVE TAQWA OF ALLAH AND INCREASE IN DHIKR

It is upon you to have Taqwa (fear of Allah) both in private and in public,
and to increase in the dhikr (remembrance of Allah) at every time. And having
Taqwa is what Allah admonished the first and the last people with.

Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].13

That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our

servants who were fearing of Allah.14

And fear Allah. And Allah teaches you.15

Indeed, for the righteous is success.16

And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out. And
will provide for him from where he does not expect. And
whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed,
Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for
everything a [decreed] extent.17

And the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسل‬has also described the virtue
of having Taqwa:

Abu Dharr and Mu'adh bin Jabal, may Allah be pleased with
them, reported that:

13
Qur’an - Al Maa’idah: 27
14
Qur’an - Maryam: 63
15
Qur’an - Al Baqarah: 282
16
Qur’an - An Naba’: 31
17
Qur’an - At Talaaq: 3-4
9
The Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said, “Fear Allah wherever
you are, do good deeds after doing bad ones, the former will wipe
out the latter, and behave decently towards people”.18

What does Taqwa mean? It means that you put a boundary between
yourself and the punishment of Allah, by doing that which he has ordered you to
do and abstaining from that which He has warned you against.
A lot of us have lost Taqwa in our affairs today, except those whom Allah
has mercy on.

Benefits of Taqwa
1. Those who have it will attain happiness and success in this world and
the hereafter.
2. Allah will only accept the deeds of those who have it.
3. Allah will forgive whoever has it
4. Allah will only allow those who have it to enter Jannah (Paradise).
5. Those who have it will attain beneficial knowledge.

Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) is also a must for every Muslim to focus

on during their day. Allah mentions His dhikr many times in His Book:

So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me

and do not deny Me.19

O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children
divert you from the remembrance of Allah. And whoever does
that – then those are the losers.20

O you who have believed, remember Allah with much
remembrance. And exalt Him morning and afternoon.21

O you who have believed, when you encounter a company [from

the enemy forces], stand firm and remember Allah much that you
may be successful.22

[Are] men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the
remembrance of Allah and performance of prayer and giving of
zakah. They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will
[fearfully] turn about.23

And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear,

without being apparent in speech – in the mornings and the
evenings. And do not be among the heedless.24

…and the men who remember Allah often and the women who
do so – for them Allah has prepared forgiveness and a great
reward.25

Benefits of Dhikr
1. For those who do it, their heart will find peace and comfort.
2. It is a means to attain success in this world and in the hereafter.
3. It is a means to protect from hypocrisy.
4. It gives life to the soul and strength to the body.

THE 3 ADVICE
SEEK KNOWLEDGE WITH SINCERITY AND ACT UPON IT

It is a must for every one of us to seek knowledge of the religion (‘ilm)

with sincerity (ikhlaas) and act upon it. This is because, with knowledge, the
worshipper will be able to differentiate the truth from falsehood, and the Sunnah
from bid’ah (innovation). Without knowledge, he will not be able to
differentiate these things.
And knowledge does not benefit without actions, in the same way that
actions do not benefit without knowledge. And whoever seeks knowledge
without acting upon it is like the Jews, and whoever acts without knowledge is
like the Christians, for indeed, the fruits of knowledge are actions.

Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those
who were given knowledge, by degrees. And Allah is Acquainted
with what you do.26

Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” Only
they will remember [who are] people of understanding.27

…and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."28

Only those fear Allah, from among His servants, who have
knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.29

Qur’an - Az Zumar: 9

12
And the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬has also described the virtue
of seeking knowledge and the benefits it brings to the believer:

Seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim.30

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with

him, the Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

“Seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim, indeed

everything seeks forgiveness for the student of knowledge, even
the fish in the waters.”31

On the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, the

Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

“Whoever goes out seeking knowledge is upon the path of Allah

until he returns.”32

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with

him, the Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

“Whoever paves a way to seek knowledge, Allah will make the

way to enter Jannah easy for him.”33

THE 4 ADVICE
FOLLOW THE SALAF AND THEIR METHODOLOGY

It is a must to follow the path of the Salaf (the Companions of the Prophet
‫ )صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬and stay away from all forms of bid’ah (innovation). Allah has
made it an obligation to follow the path and methodology of the Salaf; as
indeed, their path is the safest, the most just, the most purified, and the most
knowledgeable.
Allah has praised the Companions of the Prophet ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬, and in
addition, the Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬has also praised them for their
truthfulness, sincerity, and dedication in pleasing Allah.

Certainly was Allah pleased with the believers when they pledged
allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], under the tree, and He knew
what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquility upon them
and rewarded them with an imminent conquest.34

Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him are

forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You
see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from
Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the
trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And
their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its
offshoots and strengthens them, so they grow firm and stand
upon their stalks, delighting the sowers – so that Allah may
enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who
believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a
great reward.35

34
Qur’an - Al Fath: 18
35
Qur’an - Al Fath: 29
14
Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Muhajireen and
the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the
hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then
He forgave them. Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful.36

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and
the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct –
Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him, and
He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow,
wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.37

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and
their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval
and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share].
Those are the truthful...And [also for] those who were settled in
al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those
who immigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts
for what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference
over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever
is protected from the stinginess of his soul – it is those who will
be the successful… And [there is a share for] those who came
after them, saying, “Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who
preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment
toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind
and Merciful.”38

And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become

clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - We
will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil
it is as a destination.39

So if they believe in the same as you believe in, then they have
been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in
dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And
He is the Hearing, the Knowing.40

Al ‘Irbaad ibn Saariyah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:

One day the Messenger of Allah delivered us a very eloquent

Khutbah on account of which eyes shed tears and hearts were
full of tears. A man said: "O Prophet of Allah, this is as if it were a
parting advice. So advise us". He said, "I admonish you to fear
Allah, to listen and obey even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed
as your leader. Because whosoever among you shall live after me,
will see much discord. So hold fast to my Sunnah and the
examples of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs who will come after me.
Adhere to them and hold to it fast. Beware of new things (in the
deen) because every bid'ah (innovation) is a misguidance."43

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

“Do not revile my Companions, do not revile my Companions. By

Him in Whose Hand is my life, if one amongst you would have
spent as much gold as Uhud it would not amount to as much as
one much on behalf of one of them or half of it.”44

“Let us sit down and observe night prayer along with you”,
whereupon he said: “You have done well.” He then lifted his head
towards the sky, and it often happened that as he lifted his head
towards the sky, he said: “The stars are a source of security for
the sky and when the stars disappear, there comes to the sky,
(i.e.,it meets the same fate) as it has been promised (it would
plunge into darkness). And I am a source of safety and security to
my Companions and when I would go away, there would fall to
the lot (of my Companions) as they have been promised with, and
my Companions are a source of security for the Ummah and as
they would go, there would fall to the lot of my Ummah as (its
people) have been promised.45

THE 5 ADVICE
BE WITH RIGHTEOUS PEOPLE INSTEAD OF EVIL PEOPLE

Always be in the company of the righteous and abstain from the company
of the evil people, as it is upon us all to choose good companions for ourselves,
and it is impermissible for us to choose criminals our companions.

Close friends that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for
the righteous.46

And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he
will say, "Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way… Oh,
woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. He led me
away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is
Satan, to man, a deserter.”47

Abu Musa al Ash’ari, may Allah be pleased with him, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"A person will be summoned with the one whom he loves.”48

The Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬was asked; "What about a person who
loves a people but cannot be with them?" (i.e., either he cannot
attain their lofty position of righteousness or that he has not met
with them in this life). He replied, "A person will be in the
company of those whom he loves".49

Abu Musa al Ash’ari, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:

THE 6 ADVICE
PROTECT YOUR TONGUE FROM SAYING EVIL THINGS

Preserve and protect the tongue. Indeed, most of the sins of the sons of
Adam are from their tongues. It is a must upon the worshipper to protect his
tongue, and to make sure that he doesn't speak except that which is pleasing to
his Lord, as certainly the angels are recording everything he says and does, and
he will see all his deeds on the Day of Resurrection.

Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer
prepared [to record].52

And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, Noble, and

recording; They know whatever you do.53

And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed,

the hearing, the sight, and the heart - about all those [one] will be
questioned.54

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"A man utters a word pleasing to Allah without considering it of

any significance for which Allah exalts his ranks (in Jannah);
another one speaks a word displeasing to Allah without
considering it of any importance, and for this reason, he will sink
down into Hell."55

are safe; and a Muhaajir (Emigrant) is the one who refrains from
what Allah has forbidden.”57

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"It is from the excellence of (a believer's) Islam that he should

shun that which is of no concern to him".58

Uqbah ibn 'Aamir, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

DON’T LET YOUR CLOTHES HANG BELOW YOUR ANKLES

Avoid wearing clothes above the ankle for men, and avoid doing so with
pride.

‘Abdullah ibn 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not look at the one who
trails his lower garment out of arrogance." Umm Salamah may
Allah be pleased with her, asked: "What should women do with
the hem of their clothes?" He said, "They might lower them a
hand's span." She said: "But their feet would still remain exposed."
He said, "Let them lower them equal to arm's length but not more
than that."60

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"What is below the ankles of a lower garment is condemned to

the Fire (Hell)."61

Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬observed:

"There are three (types of) people to whom Allah will neither
speak on the Day of Resurrection nor look at them nor purify
them, and they will have a painful chastisement." The Messenger
of Allah repeated it three times. Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased
with him, remarked: "They are ruined. Who are they, O
Messenger of Allah?" Upon this, the Messenger of Allah said,

THE 8 ADVICE
OBEY THE MUSLIM RULERS AND DON’T REVOLT

It is upon you to listen and obey your Muslim leader upon righteousness.
Listening and obeying the ruler results in happiness for the worshipper in this
world and the hereafter. Evil and corruption in people’s lives and religion have
only come because they rebelled against their rulers.
And there is no doubt that is impermissible to rebel against the leaders -
even if they are wicked. This is because the evil that will ensue as a result of
rebelling against him will be more severe than the current evil he is doing.
From the fundamentals of Islam is to listen to and obey our rulers upon
righteousness, and it is forbidden to rebel against them with protests,
revolutions, and demonstrations.

And when there comes to them information about [public]

security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it
back to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, then
the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have
known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and
His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few.63

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger
and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over
anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should
believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best
in result.64

‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbaas, may Allah be pleased with them, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"If a person notices in his ruler what he dislikes, he should show
patience, because he who departs from the (Muslim) community

Days of Jaahiliyyah (Ignorance)."65

Abu Bakrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that he

heard that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"He who insults the rulers, Allah will insult him."66

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"Whosoever obeys me, obeys Allah; and he who disobeys me,

disobeys Allah; and whosoever obeys the Amir (leader), in fact,
obeys me; and he who disobeys the Amir, in fact, disobeys me."67

‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ood, may Allah be pleased with him, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"There will be discrimination after my death and there will be

other matters that you will disapprove." He was asked: "O
Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do when we
are encountered with such happenings?" He answered, "Give
what is due from you and supplicate to Allah for your rights."68

Waa’il ibn Hujr, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that
Salamah ibn Yazid al Ju’f, may Allah be pleased with him, asked
the Messenger of Allah ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬:

"O Prophet of Allah! Tell us, what you command us to do if there

arises over us rulers who demand of us what is due to them and
refuse us what is due to us." The Messenger of Allah ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬

ruler in prosperity and adversity, whether you are willing or
unwilling, or when someone is given undue preference to you."70

Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the

Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"Hear and obey even if an Abyssinian slave whose head is like a

‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"One who withdraws his hand from obedience (to the Amir) will
find no argument (in his defense) when he stands before Allah on
the Day of Resurrection, and one who dies without having sworn
allegiance will die the death from the Days of Jaahiliyyah."

Another version of the narration is:

"He who dies having defected from obedience (to the Amir) and
discards his association with the main body of the (Muslim)
community, dies the death of one from the Days of Jahiliyyah."72

‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, reported

that the Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"It is obligatory upon a Muslim to listen (to the ruler) and obey
whether he likes it or not, except when he is ordered to do a
sinful thing; in such case, there is no obligation to listen or to
obey."73

THE 9 ADVICE
STAY AWAY FROM BID’AH AND THE PEOPLE OF BID’AH

Abstain from Bid'ah (innovations in the religion of Allah). As the hour

comes near, we notice the increase in different types of innovations. It is upon
every Muslim to be aware of falling into innovations and desires and being in
the company of the people of desires. Certainly, the Sunnah is pure and
innovation is filthy, and Allah only accepts that which is pure.

And when you see those who engage in [offensive] discourse

concerning Our verses, then turn away from them until they enter
into another conversation. And if Satan should cause you to
forget, then do not remain after the reminder with the
wrongdoing people.74

And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils

from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative
speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not
have done it, so leave them and that which they invent.75

Or have they other deities who have ordained for them a religion
to which Allah has not consented? But if not for the decisive
word, it would have been concluded between them. And indeed,
the wrongdoers will have a painful punishment. 76

This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed
My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.77

The Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

“Allah the Almighty is Good and accepts only that which is good.
And indeed, Allah has commanded the believers to do that which
He has commanded the Messengers. So the Almighty has said: “O
(you) Messengers! Eat of the tayyibat [all kinds of halal (legal)
foods], and perform righteous deeds.” [Al Mu’minoon: 51] and the
Almighty has said: “O you who believe! Eat of the lawful things
that We have provided you.” [Al Baqarah: 172]” Then he ‫صلى هللا عليه‬
‫ وسلم‬mentioned [the case] of a man who, having journeyed far, is
disheveled and dusty, and who spreads out his hands to the sky
saying “O Lord! O Lord!,” while his food is haram (unlawful), his
drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished
with haram, so how can [his supplication] be answered?”78

‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, reported that the

Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬said:

"If anyone introduces in our matter something which does not

belong to it, will be rejected.”

Another version of the narration is:

"If anybody introduces a practice which is not authenticated by

me, it is to be rejected.”79

Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that there was a
group of the Companions of the Prophet ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬, one of
whom said: "I will not marry women." Another said: "I will not eat
meat." Another said: "I will not sleep on a bed." Another said: "I
will fast and not break my fast." News of that reached the
Messenger of Allah ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬and he praised Allah then said:

"What is the matter with people who say such and such? But I
pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women.
Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me."80

THE 10 ADVICE
CONSTANTLY ASK ALLAH FOR STEADFASTNESS

It is upon all of us to ask Allah to keep us firm and steadfast in his

religion because the hearts are between the Fingers of Allah. He turns them
however He wants to. A person might be a Muslim in the morning and in the
evening he is a disbeliever, and a a person might be a Sunni (follower of the
Sunnah) in the evening, and in the morning he is an mubtadi’(innovator). That's
why our Prophet ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬used to increase in asking Allah to keep his
heart firm upon His deen (religion). If this was the case of the Prophet ‫صلى هللا‬
‫عليه وسلم‬, then we are more in need of that than him ‫صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬.

And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost

inclined to them a little.81

Shahr ibn Haushab reported:

I asked Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her: “O Mother

of the Believers, which supplication did the Messenger of Allah
‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬make frequently when he was in your house?” She
said: “He ‫ صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬supplicated frequently: ‘O Controller of
the hearts, make my heart steadfast in Your religion.’” 82

To Allah belongs the praise in the beginning and the end. And I ask Allah
to make this beneficial for us all.
