 METODOLOŠKA OBJAŠNJENJA
Procjene broja stanovnika za Federaciju Bosne i Hercegovine urađene su
na osnovu konačnih rezultata Popisa stanovništva, domaćinstava i
stanova u Bosni i Hercegovini 2013. godine (u daljem tekstu: Popis).
Izvori podataka
Izvori podataka za procjene broja stanovnika Federacije Bosne i
Hercegovine su slijedeća istraživanja:
- Popis stanovništva 2013
- statistika rođenih
- statistika umrlih
- statistika migacija stanovništva
Podaci o rođenim prikupljaju se na Statističkom izvještaju o rođenju
(obrazac DEM-1) za svaki upis u matičnu knjigu rođenih.
Podaci o umrlim prikupljaju se na Statističkom izvještaju o smrti (obrazac
DEM-2) za svaki upis u matičnu knjigu umrlih.
Podaci o migraciji stanovništva temelje se na osnovu baze podataka koja
je preuzeta od IDDEEA-e (Agencija za identifikacijske dokumente,
evidenciju i razmjenu podataka Bosne i Hercegovine).
Definicije i objašnjenja
U Popisu 2013. godine po prvi put je za utvrđivanje ukupnog broja
stanovništva primjenjen koncept „ uobičajenog stanovništva“. Po ovom
konceptu osoba se smatra stranovnikom onog mjesta u kojem samo (u
slučaju samačkog domaćinstva) ili sa članovima svog domaćinstva
provodi najveći dio svog vremena odnosno dnevno / noćni odmor,
nezavisno od toga gdje ima prijavljeno prebivalište. Time su u ukupno
stanovništvo određenog mjesta uključene osobe koje su u tom mjestu
živjele neprekidno najmanje godinu dana prije kritičnog momenta popisa,
kao i osobe koja su u tom momentu živjele kraće od 12 mjeseci s
namjerom da u tom mjestu ostanu najmanje godinu dana.
Živorođenim djetetom smatra se svako dijete koje pri rođenju diše i
pokazuje druge znakove života kao što su kucanje srca, pulsiranje
pupčane vrpce i jasne pokrete voljnih mišića.
Umrli je svaka živorođena osoba kod koje je nastupio trajni prestanak svih
vitalnih funkcija.
Prirodni priraštaj je razlika između broja živorođene djece i broja umrlih
osoba.
Saldo migracija je razlika broja doseljenih i broja odseljenih stanovnika
nekog područja.
Podaci prema starosti iskazuju se prema navršenim godinama života.
Promjena stanovništva predstavlja razliku u veličini stanovništva između
kraja i početka danog vremenskog razdoblja (obično jedne godine), u
suštini predstavlja razliku u veličini stanovništva 1. januara dvije
uzastopne godine.
Stopa ukupne promjene stanovništva je omjer ukupne promjene
stanovništva tokom godine prema prosječnoj populaciji datog područja te
godine. Vrijednost je izražena na 1000 stanovnika.

NOTES OF METHODOLOGY
The population estimates for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
were done on the base of final results Population, Households and
Dwellings Census in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2013 (hereinafter referred to
us: Census).
Data sources
The following surveys are data sources for the population estimates for
The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina:
- The 2013 Census data
- birth statistics
- death statisstics
- statistics on migration of population
Data on births are collected on the statistical report on births (DEM-1 form)
for every entry in the birth register.
Data on deaths are collected on the statistical report on deaths (DEM-2
form) for every entry in the death register.
Data on migration of population are based on the database collected
by the IDEEA (Agency for Identification Documents Registers and Data
Exchange of BiH) .
Definitions and explanations
In the 2013 Census, the concept of “usual residents” was applied for the
first time in order to determine the total number of population. Under this
concept, a person shall be considered as a resident of the place at which
she/he alone (in the case of a one-person household) or with members of
their household spends most of time, that is, daily/nightly rest, irrespective
of where the person’s place of residence is registered. Therefore, the total
population of a certain place includes persons who lived in that place for a
continuous period of at least one year prior to the Census Critical Moment,
and persons who at that particular moment lived there less than 12
months but intend to stay at that place for at least one year.
A live-born child (live birth) is every child who breathes and exhibits other
signs of life at birth, such as breathing of the heart, pulsation of the
umbilical cord or defenite movement of voluntary muscles.
Dead person (death) is every live-born person in which there is permanent
disappearance of all evidence of life.
Natural increase is the difference between the number of live-born
children and the number of dead persons in a given period.
Net migration of population is the difference between the number of
immigrants and emigrants of a particular area.
Data by age are expressed by completed years of age.
Population change is the difference in the size of a population between
the end and the beginning of a given time period (usually one year),
specifically, it is the difference in population size on 1 January of two
consecutive years.
The crude rate of population change is the ratio of total population
change during the year to the average population of the area in question
that year. The value is expressed per 1 000 inhabitants.
