    Willow River Elementary School Music

    What the classroom looks like!


    This classroom will be filled with musical experiences and motivation. We will learn
    many different skills including:
    - Beat skills - Solfege confidence
    - Singing songs together - Improvising music!
    Students will learn to encourage each other and encourage themselves to create music

    Classroom rules!
    Each and every student will be expected to demonstrate M.U.S.I.C.
    - Motivate Understand Safety Inclusion Courtesy
    Along with this, all students will be expected to bring their listening ears and watching
    eyes to class!

    Goals for the year


    Sing songs together as a group for an audience!
    Express ourselves in new musical ways
    Learn new musical concepts
    Do at least one good deed each day

    Grading Policies
    There will be no scores or points in this class. Students will be graded on how engaged
    and attentive they are in class, as well as how well they work with the students around
    them
