At the end of the lesson the class will be able to;
 Demystify challenges in solving the vacation worksheets
 Be introduced to the next lesson

Ask learners:

 Are there any questions they solved with ease?


 Are there any questions they struggle solving

Have learners’ share their experience on the questions they were able to solve with ease and why the
questions seemed easy.

To support the next task on the vacation worksheets, ask learners to group themselves in to four and
assign those above average easy question that they could help those below average to solve.

Move around to correct possible misconception in each group. Note down the difficult tasks on the
board and guide learners to solve by explaining relevant concept they might misconstrue

50mim) Revise the previous lesson on the vacation worksheets. Task learners to work on the easy questions
individually.

Remediate learners lacking behind the previous concepts. After having them work individually, group
them into four and task them with questions that challenge them to think wild and smart.

After 20 minutes working as a group, have them present their work for reinforcement as well as
critiques

Give learners a short test as a starter for the lesson in their Learner’s Book on - pg. (10)

After 10 minutes, go round to ascertain their preparedness for the lesson in terms of relevant
previous knowledge on the topic.

Correct possible misconceptions and let them know the objective of the lesson

Assign the class with an exercise on worksheet to help them have a fair idea on place value
on decimals. Allow learners to ask questions for further clarity and remediation

Slow learners will be paired with other learners to foster their comprehension and speed to finishing
