Prospective Orchestra Member,

Thank you for your interest in participating in the University of New Mexico Symphony and
Sinfonia for the spring semester of 2024!

Details for auditions can be found below:

I. Your receipt of this email means that you have conveyed interest in the ensemble,
however, in order to officially sign up for an audition, please fill out the following form

II. Submission of audition material will take place online, by submitting video to
the following link no later than midnight on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024:

III. The repertoire for the audition has been divided into two lists, designated
alphabetically as A and B. You need only play one list of repertoire, and based on your
major, degree program, and what you’d like to do, a different list may be more suitable for
you*:
• Graduate student music majors, all music performance majors (graduate and
undergraduate), those seeking a principal position in any section, and those seeking a first
violin assignment in the UNMSO must perform List A.
• All other students, including those seeking entry into the UNM Sinfonia may play list B.
