Welcome to Easy Film Color Correction Presets Manual

INSTALLATION:
Depending on your After Effects XX version (CS6, CC, CC2014, CC2015) you must copy the
downloaded unzipped „Easy Film Presets“ folder into your „Presets“ folder.

Usually Presets folder are found:

WINDOWS
Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects XX\Support Files\Presets

MAC
Applications/Adobe After Effects XX/Presets

HOW TO USE:
1. After installing (copying) the Easy Film Folder into the presets location you need to run your Adobe After
Effects software.

2. When After Effects is running in the Effects and Presets window you can locate the Easy Film
Presets folder and apply them by dragging any of the eight preset styles on to your footage!
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Apply the presets to the Adjusment layer which is on top of your footage, in this way you can control the
presets opacity by controling the opacity of the adjustment layer.
2. Use presets on the footage which was shot with neutral white balance.
3. If your original footage is shot not saturated enough apply the presets and then extra Vibrance and
Saturation > Saturation effect.
4. If you have shot with a lower budget camera or phone, do not stack too many effects on the footage as
the colors may start braking and looking distorted.
