1. Preface
We congratulate on your getting "Chanmag" semi-automatic dough rounder / divider. It
would be your best partner for over 10 years. Please use and maintain it according to the manual
before operation.

2. About Machine
This machine was designed to round and divide dough automatically with foilowing features,
Capacity is available for 30 . 36 and 22pcs per tray. Five models are available for CM-30A,
CM.3OB, CM-36A, CM.36B, CM-22A,

5. Transportation (see picture 3)
1 ' Using I ton forklift to move the machine onto adequate position and unpack.
2 ' Open wooden crate and side plate by screwdriver. loose 4pcs M10 screws on botlom plate
by wrench.
3' Lifting up nylon belts by forklift, take off the skid and fix the machine onto floor.

6. lnstallation
METHOD OFINSTALLATION
A) The equipment must be installed onto a plain floor.
B) There must be sufficient space as shown on the sketch for operation and cleaning.
C) To remove the cover No.4 and have those 4 anti-vibration pads fixed at Four Corners ofthe
equipment. It is requested to ensure the pads have been steadily fixed and make each on
hole in diameter of l/2" at each comer.
D) To tightly screw in 4*3/8" screws and re-install them back to the side-cover.
E) To ask electric engineer to energize and ensure the power meets what stated on the
nameplate.
F) To make test run on the moulding level No.12. The direction of moulding plate No.l0
should be counter-clockwise as the anow's direction.
G) To hold the pressing lever No.6 by hand and insert in the part of tooth segment No.28 along
the anow's direction then to tightly screw.
CAUTIONS
A) It is essential to ask professional engineer to make installation and test-run.
B) The equipment has already been filled with adequate oil upon test-run, if there is any leakage during
transportation, please check the oil content of slide bearing No.60 again with procedures as; take off
the clamping lever No.3, pull up the top of machine, use two hands to pick up the moulding plate
No.l0, the oil content should be 5mm higher than both convex sides for normal operation.
C) It will be very helpful to enlarge the operation and it's life ifyou select a smooth plain position for
fxing the machine.
D) To meet the hygiene standard, all gaps on the bottom of the machine to the floor must be thoroughly
sealed with silicone after fixing.

7. Operatlon and Safuty lnstructlon


Prc4leening:
A) Clean the rust prcventive oil on thc knifc No.6, moulding plate No. I 0, and thc chcck ring.
B) Bcfore formal production, please usc about 2kg dough to rcpeatedly operrtc thc mrchine to cosurc it
cm bc well clcan and bettcr operation aftcrwards.

Opcntlon:
A) Tlm on thc power switch No.5 to thc right for starting it.
B) Try to press thc moulding lcvcr No.l2, thc moulding plate No.l0 should to countcr-clockwisc
dircction.
C) Prcperc thc dough and plestic platc No.35 to practicc thc proccdures for r couplc timcs to cruuc you
can bc familiar with thc ptoccdurcs. To completely stir s big picce ofdough which enough to bc

divided iltto 22, 30 or 36 pieccs and smoothly put it on the plastic platc No.36 aftcr hrs to r€st r
short timc. When thc plastic platc No.36 is put onto thc rnoulding plrtc No.l0 ofm.chinc. It must bc
fixcd stcadily without moving.
D) To adjust the hcight of moulding spacc to bc rcfcnrd thc wcight of dough and 6c indicetion on thc
scelc. Such as the carve of50 refers to 60 grams pcr piccc ofdough. It is rcquircd to sccurcly fix thc
slceve nut No.70 again to prcvcnt from loring. As it will d.mage the surficc of dough and metc it
plain ifthe carve is too smoll .nd it will not bc as mund es you expect if thc crrvc is too big.
E) To pull down the prcssing lcver No.5 to hrve the dough prcssed tightly end using left h.nd to prrsh
the cutting handle urd prcss thc prcssing lcvcr No.6 to divide thc dough.
F) Deprcss fully the moulding lcvcr No.l2 slowly. Havc rounding moulding ph& No.l0 for 3-5
seconds and shift it back gadually.

G) Lift the pressing lever No.6 to stop position rnd remove the plastic plate No.36 with rounded picccs
from the machine.

Safety lnstruction:
A) Keep people off the machirc upon opcretion and the opcrator also should keep himself (hcrsel0 ofr
the machine.

B) When using it for dividing and rounding, thc total weight should be less than 3kg or 3.6kg.
C) It will demage the cutting equipment if any metal and hard materials mixing into the dough.
D) User hrs to wear adequate food processing clothes and body covers.

8. Gleaning and Malntenance


Cleaning(The perts should be clerning drlly efter operetion)
A) TUm off the power switch No.5, ushg pin (a) to fix the pressirg lever in the vertical position then
pull out the clamping lever before storagc at th€ position of (b) and pull up the top of machine
(Crudon: The wcight ofthe top is rnourd l20kg, plerse be crreful when you pull up the top of
mrchine. Remove the dough check ring clockwhe.), weight down the pressing lever No.27 and
push the cutting handle No.33. (Ceution: Be cerefullS the spring might rebound.) Emerging
cutting knife must be used brush & air gun to clean and the knife No.6, knife-head, dough check
ring moulding plate No.lo can not usc water, too. (Crufion3 put on gre.rc or lubricrnts-Phillips

B) It's very important to kccp thc oppositc side of the moulding platc No.l0 and the plastic platc No.35
cleaning.
C) Aftcr brushing please dry up the plastic plarc No.36 by nature but can't be roasted, frozen or placed
it at random, it will be deteriorated.
D) For maintaining the machine hygieae, il must be seriously inspected to clean and disinfect monthly.
E) Lrltraviolet ray must disinfect plastic moulds. Attention: It can't be disinfected h high tempsraturB.

tlalntenance
A) If the rounder works slower, it means the belt is loose aff€r using for a couple years. Please adjust it
by tighten the screws No.79.
B) Using lubricant oil such as a350b lubricant or Philip PF food oil for mlintcrrancc. It is dcfinitcly
prohibitcd to us gcncral oil or food oil to do maintcnancc.
