Auto world try to provide best service to them and save their time.

Chapter 02

2.0 Training Experience at the Institute

My training period at United Motors was great in my life. I learned not only about automobile
technology but that we a great place to learn about leadership and how to face problems and
work in a competitive working environment. it was a fight with time and the company's name.

When some customers enter the vehicle into the workshop, we must provide proper service to
them. As a technician, we must identify the correct vehicle trouble and return the vehicle in time.
This was very hard work. There were some problems always. Sometimes there were spare parts
problems. This causes to delay the repair. When that time we must have to ability to talk with
customers and inform them about these problems without any problem with them.

When we work as a manager or supervisor the very important thing is the human rescues.
sometimes any worker wants to get a leave. When that time we must have the ability to cover
that blank without any delay in work. Some of the technician's knowledge not strong enough
about some new vehicles, and the times' supervisor must have good knowledge, or he must have
the ability to help technicians.

When I worked, I faced some different problems. The first thing was that I never worked with
vehicles.so I didn't know about some their own technologies. But I could cover that problem
easy. The other thing is diagnosing troubles. it was very hard work for me in the first 10 days. I
heard engine and vehicle sounds but I couldn't identify what is the trouble or where is the
trouble. I tried many times and now I have some ability to identify such troubles. These problems
I faced in United Motors, and I could find answers to them in this training period.
2.1 Engine Systems

An engine is a machine that Converts energy from a fuel to some mechanical energy. Creating
motion in the process. Engines – such as the ones used to run vehicles can run on a variety of
different fuels most notably gasoline and diesel in the case of cars.

There are 2 main types of engines.

There are two different sorts of engines,

• Internal Combustion engine Cicer: An internal Combustion engine is one that burns fuel
inside the engine. Such as in an automobile.
• External Combustion engine: Those engines in which the fuel Combustion takes place
outside the engine Such as in a Steam engine,

Type Of Engine

• Five - Cylinder

• Flat engine

• Inline

Answer

All failure mores Should be correct.

I have more experience to common engine problem.

(Engine will not start / misfire and Overheating)

Transmission System
In a Car vehicle, a transmission, or a gearbox, acts as the medium that transmits power generated
by the engine to the wheels via mechanical System O+ gears and gear trains. A transmission
allows a person to apply power to a vehicle in a controlled manner, without which, the car would
not efficiently move.

Type of transmission System

A. Mechanical Transmission System

• Clutch, gearbox, and live axle transmission

• Vehicle has no power.

Training Period (Saliya Motors)

Common transmission symptoms are slipping and no work to some gears. Its main treatment is
Repair to gearbox and Check Some geo wheels. more time gear wheels are a broker. Ox
Slipping. After the use of applicable gear oil.
Gear System

A Gearbox is often called a transmission. Gear bones simply refer to a set of gears and them
casing, most commonly found in automobiles.

Type of Gear box

The primary types of vehicle gearboxes are men's and automatic. The automatic gearbox is
further classified into torque converter, CUT continuous, and Variable Transmission) Automatic
Manual Phans transmission (AMT) and DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission)
Steering System

The Steering system of a vehicle is everything from the Steering wheel to the Steering from the
shaft. rack and pinion (also known as the gearbox) to the linkage which connects to the wheels
themselves.

Types of Basic Steering Systems

• The hydraulic Power Steering (HPS)

• The electric power hydraulic steering (EPHS)
• Fulle, electric power Steering (EPS)

Common Symptoms of Steering System in Vehicle

• Steering wheel Vibrations

• Slipping Steering wheel
• Grinding Or Screeching noise when Steering.
• Discolored liquid Coming from the Vehicle.
Training Period (Saliya Motors)

When I’m in Saliya Motors replace to reck pinion replace to gear oil/replaced to Pitmana.

Suspension System

Suspension is the system of tires, tire air, springs, shock absorbers, and linkage that connects a
vehicle to its wheels and allows relative motion between the two. Suspension systems must
Support both road holding/handling and ride quality, which are at odds with each other.
Types of Suspension system

• Double wishbone Suspension

• Independent Suspension
• Macpherson Suspension
• Multi-link suspension
• Air Suspension

3.0 Conclusion to the Report

3.1 Conclusion

During the period of my in-plant training, I had the opportunity to get a wide knowledge of
United motors PLC. I got more experience in practical & and theoretical parts in Automobile
engineering works, at the shop. Some of them were quality of work done, workmanship,
front office management, and coordinating with consultants & and clients. All the company
staff was always very friendly with me they helped us whenever we asked for it. All the
time they wish to give us some targets for working and in my point of view it is better for a
trainee to manage time for that work as well as he gave to responsibility with regarding that
work. I think the Basic Training period was more useful to me in getting knowledge in
Automobile engineering work.

3.2 Suggestions for improvement

• I have been assigned to develop a new project library management system therefore
I have to study well about the core of the project.
• I have to improve my technological knowledge.
• I have to improve my working experience.
• I have to work hard to enhance my knowledge of the experiences.
• I have to improve about gaining knowledge of newly updated technologies.

3.3 strengths and weaknesses
