Snowy Disaster

On the day no one expects the snow, the heaviest snow in the world's history has come. On this
May, there was heavy snow, the snow was like a swarm of bee attacks, it was a snowstorm.
We’ve never seen snow, even in winter the water doesn’t freeze, we were living in California. No
one didn’t know what to do when it was snowy, and the road froze. On that day I was having a
summer holiday at home, watching TV. But suddenly, the emergency news came on the TV
show. “Snowstorm is coming to California, everyone, you can get necessaries in front of the city
hall. Repeating, a snowstorm is coming to California, everyone, you can get necessaries in front
of the city hall.” The TV shouted.

The temperature went down unexpectedly. It went across the point where the water freezes.
Everyone was not believing that. They thought the people were spreading rumours. But it was
not, as soon as people saw snowflakes coming from the sky, they believed the news. They ran as
fast as cheetahs; everyone went to city hall to get necessities.

“Jim come down and help to move the necessaries.” His mom yelled at Jim.

It was lucky that Jim’s mom believed the news as soon as she saw it. The lines were so long that
they could go around the world. But not everyone could get necessaries, they had to go back
home because of the snowstorm.

It was a disaster that day, no one had a blanket that could cover the cold, and no one had a
blanket that could maintain the heat. On that night, no one could sleep. Because the roads were
too slippery, a few people died trying to get to another city.

The next day, even though there was snow of about 50 centimeters tall, the coldness that they
had yesterday was gone. The heat before the snowstorm was back, everyone came out of their
houses, they went to play with the snow, and their normal life was back two days after the
disaster!

“This was what an abnormal experience,” Jim told his friends on vacation in another country.
