INSTRUCTIONS
REQUIRED NUMBER OF PLAYERS:
at least 2 players
GENERAL RULES OF THE GAME:
At the start of the game, each player has five
cards: four random cards and a Help Card.
The participants or players will now take
turns drawing from the deck of cards. The
order or sequence of turns is decided by the
players, either by tossing a coin, rolling a die,
or having a simple discussion.
The game is simple. The players should avoid
getting an Exploding Card from the deck.
When that happens, that person will be
eliminated from the game unless the player
has a Help Card to counter or stop the
explosion. In addition, all other cards with
different functions will be used strategically
to lessen your chances of blowing up. Up until
there is just one person left, who then wins
the game, the process continues.

EXPLODING CARDS (6 CARDS)
if you draw this, you’re out of the game unless
you counter it with a Help Card.
HELP CARDS (10 CARDS)
These stop the exploding cards. These are the
initial measures to address mental illnesses.
You can do these if you are having problems
or you can suggest these actions to your
friend that needs support.
SUPPORT CARDS (8 CARDS)
These can stop the effect of any card except
Exploding and Help Cards. These are some
encouraging actions you can do to help a
friend.
ACTION CARD (6 CARDS)
These cards end the current player’s turn and
force the next player to draw from the deck
twice.

STEAL CARDS (4 CARDS FOR EACH CATEGORY)
Two cards of the same category will let you
steal a card from another player’s cards. This
deck is expandable.
SKIP CARDS (4 CARDS)
the player’s turn will automatically end
without drawing from the deck with a skip
card
SHUFFLE CARDS (4 CARDS)
allow players to shuffle the deck without
looking at the cards.
PREMONITION CARDS (4 CARDS)
these enable the participant to peek or see the
top 3 cards from the deck.
PURPOSE:
To help the general public in understanding common mental disorders and to
equip people to be able to offer their friends/loved ones who are experiencing
mental health problems support.
