It is hereby announced for the information of candidates who have applied for the post of
Veterinary Surgeon in Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department, Haryana in response to Advt. No.
4112022 that there will be a recruitment test followed by interview for the above said post. The

Commission has decided the pattem of exam, which is as under:-

(a) Total number of MCQs : 100

o) Duration of the Exam: 02 hours.

(c) All questions carry equal marks.
(d) Each question will have five options. The fifth option will be meant for a situation where a

candidate intends to leave the question un-attempted.

(e) One-fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
(0 In case a candidate neither attempts a question nor darkens the fifth option/bubble, then
One-fourth marks will be deducted for each such question.
(s) The question paper will be in English.
(h) The weightage of the written exam will be 87.5 percent and that of the interview will be
12.5 percent.

(i) A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 50 percent marks in case of General
Category and 45 percent marks in case of Reserved Category flncluding all horizontal &
vertical reservation cases), in the written exam to be eligible to qualify for the interview
stage. However, candidates to the extent of two times (including bracketed candidates, if
any) of the number of vacancies, category wise, will be called for interview.
