Curriculum Night:
Monday, October 2 – Day 5
We are excited to welcome families to Curriculum Night on
● Borden Ball Practice – 8 AM October 4th! Please arrive at 5:45 PM to join us in the gym for a
● Empower Program begins brief introduction. The School Council will be providing snacks
for purchase out front of the school starting at 5:15 PM.
Tuesday, October 3 – DAY 1
Families will then be invited to visit one classroom between
● 8 AM 5/6 Boy soccer practice
6:10- 6:40 PM, and another classroom (if desired) will begin at
● Borden Ball Tournament Monarch Park
● Cross Country Practice – 8 AM 6:45 and end at 7:15 PM..
● Drama Club - 3:30 - 4:30 PM - Gr. 4-8 RM 112 Please note that Curriculum Night is an opportunity for teachers
● 5/6 and 7/8 all-gender flag football – 3:30-4:30PM to share general information about their program and classroom
routines. Parent-Teacher conferences will be in November, and
Wednesday, October 4 – DAY 2 will be a chance for teachers to connect with you about your
● Cross Country Practice – 8 AM child’s specific progress and experience. Looking forward to
● 7/8 Boys and Girls Soccer – 3:30-4:30 PM seeing you soon!
● Curriculum Night - 6:00-7:45 PM
School Council Elections:
Thursday, October 5– Day 3
The meeting will be on Oct 11 at 7 PM. During the meeting,
● 8 AM 5/6 Boy soccer practice
Executive Election will be held for Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary
● Cross Country Practice – 8 AM
● Borden Ball Practice – Lunch 12PM ( up to two of each position). Elections will be inclusive,
● 5/6 and 7/8 all-gender flag football – 3:30-4:30PM transparent and accountable, ensuring that all members of the
school community are included, welcomed and feel valued. Any
Friday, October 6– Day 4 parent/caregiver of a student in the school, who is seeking
● Professional Development Day - NO SCHOOL election, must be nominated or self‐nominated in writing.
