COURAGEOUS ADVENTURE WITH NATURE

By: Jomel D. Mayo
Finding courage in the morning sun
The sun shone down on the lush green trees.
I'm in love with this majestic mountain.
All around us was beauty, and love, that shone in its glorious ray.
In silence I wait, for the warmth of the sun, my heart longing for the sound of the rain.
The beauty of nature on full display, at the end of the day's sunset.

The horizon aglow, a reminder of the beauty of the sunset.

You are the glow of the setting sun.
I am reminded of the beauty of nature, and I am comforted by the rain.
The wind rustled through the leaves of the trees.
The clouds moved slowly in the sky, their shadows passing in the day's ray.
I gaze upon the endless view of the mountain.

Nothing can stop me from scaling the mountain.

The day's labor done, now to bask in the glory of the sunset.
My heart glowed with fervent love, my soul illuminated with its ray.
Strangely enough, I find peace for my farewell with the sun.
As the birds sang from the branches of the trees.
The clouds weep with sorrow, and the tears fall like rain.

The tears of the heavens fall, as the rain.

For this I know I have been called, to stand atop this tall mountain.
Before those mountains is a forest filled with tall, strong trees.
The birds take to flight, for the sun is on its way out at sunset.
I'm a wanderer under the light of the sun.
The wind rustled through the trees, its gentle whisper in the air's ray.

Watin’ the night sky lit up with stars, like a million diamonds in its ray.
Soaking in the wetness, I revel in the beauty of the rain.
For the little clouds slowly integrating, while taking a ride on the wings of the setting sun.
Climbing to its peak, I take in the view of the mountain.
The sky aflame, a glorious sight, as the sun bids us goodbye at sunset.
The evening breeze rustled through the leaves of the trees.

Seeing the beauty of nature around, a remarkable sight amongst the trees.
A crystal clear lake glimmered in the moonlight's silvery ray.
The warmth of the day gone in a flash, as the sun fades to sunset.
Sweet relief from the scorching heat, I thank the heavens for the gentle rain.
High and mighty, I will stand on the top of the mountain.
I'm still searching for a way in the night sky of the setting sun

With a little courage and love, you can reach for the sun.
As I stand here, I am in awe of the beauty of this mountain.
Knowing that the sun will come, and bring a new life in the rain.
