Listening
Voice of America
http://www.voanews.com/learningenglish/home/
I love this website because it is full of stories, news reports, and videos with very slow English. This kind of English can be useful for
you even if you are an advanced English speaker because it allows you to hear and imitate each sound more clearly.

If you are in the United States, you can probably find your local NPR on your radio station. But for those out of the US or anyone
wishing to go back into their archives, National Public Radio is a feast of English audio. The reason I recommend this organization
over other news type broadcast is because the announcers often don’t sound so announcerish. It’s also a great way to keep up with
what is going on in the world.

Jazz Chants
We sometimes use these great rhythmictype stories to help with intonation. If you decide to check them out (and there are many in
the series) be sure to get both the book and the CD to have an ideal set.
