CUMMINS OVERHAULS
Cummins offers classic overhaul kits for all heavy-duty engines and recently released
tiered CLASSIC, PRO and ELITE overhaul kits for (EPA 2010, EPA 2013) ISX12, ISX15,
ISX12 G and ISX12N engines. Overhauls are designed to bring new life to engines that are
experiencing a decrease in performance. During an overhaul, the engine is disassembled
and all parts are carefully inspected. Pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners (if applicable),
bearings, seals and gaskets are replaced with new components. A technician will inspect
other components and recommend reuse, repair or replacement based on visible wear.
The engine is then reassembled following standardized repair practices using only
genuine parts, and is tested to ensure the overhaul was successful.

ADD LIFE TO YOUR ENGINE GENUINE CUMMINS ISX TIERED OVERHAULS

Tiered overhaul kits apply only to ISX12 and ISX15 EPA 2010 (CM 2250) and EPA 2013 (CM 2350)
and ISX12 G and ISX12N EPA 2013 (CM2180 and CM2380) and EPA 2017 (CM2380) engines.
All other overhaul kits are “Classic” only. Rebate programs may apply to Legacy engines that
do not have a tiered overhaul kit offering. Please ask your service provider for more details.

RECON® SHORT BLOCK
ReCon short blocks are excellent options when
the engine block has experienced damage but
the majority of other components can remain in
use. A short block includes the cylinder block,
crankshaft, cylinder liners (for non-parent bore
blocks), pistons, connecting rod assemblies, and
bearings. Aside from an overhaul, short blocks
allow for the maximum reuse of existing parts.

RECON LONG BLOCK

The ReCon long block is a factory-remanufactured
replacement option that includes a new or
ReCon cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft,
camshaft, connecting rods, main bearings, pistons,
cylinder liners, tappets, push tubes, rocker lever
assemblies, water pumps and more. The long
block option allows for the reuse or replacement of
external components such as the turbo, lift pump,
air compressor, starter, alternator, ECM, fuel pump
and fuel lines.

RECON ENGINE
Remanufactured on assembly lines, these engines
include the latest improvements in design and material.
Engines are restored to Cummins factory specifications
and are backed by a world-class warranty and service
network including over 4,700 authorized service
locations in North America. When in stock, engine
replacement generally takes only two days, minimizing
downtime. ReCon engines extend the terms of the
warranty and also add value by providing better fuel
efficiency and lower maintenance costs than engines
given typical repairs.
