In each of the following questions given below, a word is given followed by four
combinations of symbols and digits labelled A, B, C and D. You have to find out which of the
following four combinations correctly represents the word based on the alphabet codes
and the conditions given below. If none of the combinations matches, choose ‘None of
these’ as your answer.
ELEMENT 9 P 4 E 5 V I J 3 O 8 6 D A 2 7
CODE `` ~ W || ^ { __ = + ; “ [ ] -- M :

Condition 1:
If first element is a vowel and last element is a number then the codes are to be interchanged.
Condition 2:
If first element is a consonant and last element is a vowel then both of them are to be coded as middle
element.
Condition 3:
If first element is an odd digit and last element is an even digit then the code will be written in reversed
order.
Condition 4:
If any element appears twice in a code then it will be coded as L.

Note:If two or more conditions are applicable in single code then Condition 1 will be given 1st priority,
Condition 2 will be given 2nd priority, Condition 3 will be given 3rd priority and Condition 4 will be given
4th priority. And position of all elements in the code will be taken from the left end.
1) What would be the code of ‘9D8O3J4’?

A. W=+;"]``
B. ]``W=+;"
C. W=+;``]"
D. ]``W=;+"
E. None of these

A matrix has six row *, $, @, %, # and & and five columns A, B, C, D and E in the same order. The row *
contains twice of its previous number starting from 8. The row $ contains consecutive even number
starting from 2. The row @ contains consecutive multiple of 5 starting from 5. The row % contains
consecutive multiple of 9 starting from 9. The row # contains consecutive number starting from 13. The
row & contains consecutive prime number starting from 11.
NOTE:
There is a group of two symbols given for each value such that the symbol on the left represents symbols
of the row on it and the symbol on the right represents the symbol of the column on it.
We are going to find the place of players in India team in five different categories with the help of some
inputs by players and the method to determine expected team of the players.
Based on following conditions an example given below.
Condition I :- If an odd number is followed by an even number, then the odd number is multiplied by 2.
Condition II :- If an odd number is followed by an odd number, then the sum of both numbers are multiplied
by 1.5.
Condition III :- If an even number is followed by an even number, then decrease the larger number by 50%.
Condition IV :- If an even number is followed by an odd number, then subtract the smaller number from
the larger number.

The resultant value of the inputs is used to determine the expected team of players.
(a) If the resultant value is less than or equal to 30, then the player get selected in India A team.
(b) If the resultant value is in between 31 and 60, then the player get selected in India B team.
(c) If the resultant value is in between 61 and 90, then the player get selected in India C team.
(d) If the resultant value is between 91-120 then the player get selected in India D team.
(e) If the resultant value is greater than 120 then the player get selected in India E team.
For example:
Suppose player P give some input viz.” %B @C $C *C “
Then the input values are 18 15 6 32
Considering the first two numbers, condition IV is applicable. So, resultant= 18-15 =
3.
So, it becomes 3 6 32
Considering the first two numbers, condition is I is applicable. So, resultant = 3×2 = 6
So, the Input values become 6 32
Now at last, condition IV is applicable. So, resultant 32/2 = 16
As resultant value is 16, so player P get selected in India A team.
1) What is the team of the player X if his input
is given as:-
X = “ %C #D #B &E" ?
A. India A
B. India B
C. India C
D. India D
E. India E

2) Which of the following input among

three inputs gave same team as
player P = " *B @B @C #A".
I) Player Q = #B %D &C @E
II) Player R = #D $E #C &B
III)Player S = &A #B %C @D
A. Only I
B. Only II
C. Only III
D. Both I and II
E. Both II and III
3) Which of the following inputs can be
select as India C?
A. &E %D %B %C
B. $A %D #A *C
C. $E &A %C *B
D. @C %E $C &E
E. None of these

4) What is the team of the input of

player Z = “ #E %D @B *E “ ?
A. India A
B. India B
C. India C
D. India D
E. India E
5) What is the team of six times of the
average resultants of player X and
player Y?
X = %A @C %E #A
Y = $E *D #D &D
A. India A
B. India B
C. India C
D. India D
E. India E
